Good happy hour! The bar is small but great. We did Valentines dinner once too. Very good food! Their lunch menu is really awesome. The lasagna was so very yummy. They have a few good choices for draft beer too.

Cute little place for a quick bite and ice cold beer. Friend and I were in the area and stopped in on a whim. The soft crab sliders were yum and smoked oysters so flavorful. Decided on the local beer and got an ice cold Canebrake on draught. Hit the spot! We were coming from out of town and were pleased with the food and atmosphere.

Pork medallion lunch special was awesome, scallop appetizer was awesome (little pricey but worth it), seafood eggplant pasta was really good, the crab meat stuffing was a little pasty(not a fan of that) but did have decent flavor. The eggplant and the pasta sauce were very good.

Phenomenal dinner! Decided to try the meatball appetizer for the first time. It was solid! I had tonight’s special of pompano. It was light but delicious. I also had a bite of the steak which was incredible. Dessert was the chocolate bourbon pecan pie and it was the perfect finish to the meal. The bread pudding was also phenomenal. Nathan’s was an absolute winner tonight!

I had the pleasure of dining at Nathan’s for the first time and I must say we enjoyed the Crab meat au gratin appetizer, Mike Snapper and Trout Christopher as entree’s. The fish is the freshest I have had at a restaurant in Slidell. The creamed spinach is very good as a side. The ambiance is relaxing, staff were very attentive. They also have a lunch menu.

We went without reservations at around 2 pm on a Friday afternoon. We enjoyed Calamari and Bacon Wrapped Scallops as Appetizers. For the main course we had the Cobb Salad (with Grilled Shrimp) and the Bacon and Cheddar Burger (delicious sourdough bun). For dessert we split an order of Bread Pudding. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Nice dining environment, we will be back.

We had my son and future daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner last night at Nathan’s. It was awesome, top notch service and food. If you haven’t tried it, you definitely need too. The Filets with Crab on top was spectacular. Smoked Oysters, Crab Cakes, Stuffed Fried Trout, and the Bread Puddings was delicious. Thank you so much Gena and Ross, for a great dining experience.
