This is simply a spicy tender alternative to the canes right across the street. I think that the chicken here is just as good if not better than canes, but I prefer the canes sauce and toast. Regardless, this is a good spot if you want some quick food.

Actually spicy chicken! I have continually been disappointed by the inaccurate spice level ratings in the twin cities but I’d say that the scale here is pretty accurate. I got the second from the hottest and it actually had a pretty good kick of spice. The chicken was cooked well- crispy coating on the outside, juicy meat on the inside. The fries were seasoned and the sauce that came with it was pretty good, zesty and creamy. Fries portions are generous. The combo is a little on the pricey side but does come with a drink, so I guess that puts it on par with other dining options around campus.

I ordered the Chicken Sammich from the food truck that was parked at a brewery. I thought it was delicious. The chicken was so tender and juicy. The Coop style heat was just right. I think my favorite part was the sauce which I poured all over the sandwich and dipped my fries in it.

Perfectly fried chicken, seasoned fries thus a warm meal. The staff are very friendly. They once compensated me with extra fries and strips because someone else had taken my order of food.

First time I went food was super good and chicken portions were huge & I got 3 strips in my sandwhich. The 2nd time however, they scammed me and gave me only 2 chicken strips in the sandwhich and they were both significantly smaller than before. I was only eating bread sometimes because the strips didn’t cover enough. My food was also barley crispy this time around for some reason, it was mostly soft. However, sauce and sandwhich overall is super good, fries are really good.

Customer service was good, and food was tasty but MY GOD…..the food poisoning I got from this place was insane. To not share too much information….the food was coming both up and out. Simultaneously. The chicken strips are huge, as though they were injected with the same serum the teenage mutant ninja turtles were, and the portion size is great. Go here if you want violent food poisoning but great tasting food.

This place has really good food, but the wait time is consistently brutal (a minimum of 15 mins usually) and it’s expensive. The wait time and price would be more acceptable if it was a casual dining restaurant, but it’s fast casual so that’s why it loses two stars.

Hot Chicken done perfectly.Decided to try this location.I live in St.Paul and always ate at the St.Paul location until they consistently messed up My food.Don’t go to the St.Paul location the food is horrible.St.Paul needs to do some training at the Minneapolis location.Go to Minneapolis if You want real Hot Chicken done correctly.

Tenders & Fries were good. Mac & cheese was nasty it had more cheese then noodles. I could not enjoy it at all. I asked if I could change it out for a side tender seeing as the Side of Mac was $5 & The Side Tender being $3 I Didn’t think it would be a problem. I then asked for a refund because I only took one bite of the Mac & Cheese, & a Lady who I Was told by another employee, was the manger replied “ I’m not the manger I just mange the schedule, my boss doesn’t allow us to give refunds”. No where in this location is there a Sign stating they don’t give refunds. Never the less why wouldn’t you want to fix your mistake by replacing the food?! Of course I don’t want to eat just cheese.

If I could give negative stars I would, my girlfriend works for this Total joke of a restaurant, the management are terrible and the environment is off-putting. The food is alright but who could mess up chicken and bread with some seasoned fries on the side?
