Terrible quality, terrible value. It’s not even real grilled teriyaki, more like little pieces of boiled chicken. Salad has no dressing. A huge pile of rice under the chicken to make the tiny portion acceptable. They even charge extra for soy sauce. Make this place a last resort.

Small and pleasant mom and pop shop. They were nice and the shop was clean. The only gripe that I have is more of a personal preference, I wish the meat was a little bit more charred.

Got the Spicy Chicken. Chicken wasn’t grilled like other teriyaki joints, salad was small with no dressing, too much rice and no extra sauce. $14 for “lunch special” not worth it. Not even sure they gave me the lunch special but the cashier didn’t see interested in communicating with customers..

A small Teriyaki place but huge food portions. This place has been there for 25+ years and is popular with UW students

Terrible horrible service. Called to take out. Asked if they have something. They replied don’t have, look at the menu and immediately hung up. Don’t go there. Go to another nasai teriyaki nearby

Really good food and pretty decently sized portions. Anyone that complains About this place is straying from the topic that they serve good food at a reasonable price. Also I’ve never had to wait longer than 15 mins for food. I look forward to returning. I gave it 5 stars because for a hole in the wall teriyaki place, this is top notch.

I personally didn’t like it. The place is dirty and it felt disgusting to eat in there. The gyoza was good but the “salad” was just lettuce that’s dripping with water. Teriyaki was average but it started to taste weird after a bit. Would not recommend.

Definitely not the best teriyaki in the city; that’s ridiculous. It’s fine, but considering they only have a few seats, no bathroom, and the food is the same price as every other teriyaki restaurant in the city, I think it’s a solid three stars.

I used to love this place, but quality of food is not even remotely close to what it was used to. I got chicken & gyoza it was ready in 5 min which was nice but gyoza was extremely over cooked had no sauce on them or included. Chicken Teriyaki was tasty but small portion and the salad if that’s what you want to call it was a joke it was maybe 1 iceberg lettuce leaf cut in like 3 slices with nothing on it.

Good Terriyaki! The spicy is not as spicy as other places, it’s slightly sweet but it’s good, and they give you a heads up about it not being too spicy.
