Holy cow their bread pudding is to die for! I live nowhere near this restaurant, but they brought lunch to my office and I had the curry chicken, which was AMAZING, and then the bread pudding… now I’ve got to figure out how to get myself to the complete opposite side of town to get some more bread pudding! I’ll have to try to call ahead and get a whole pan of it and freeze it or something but it’s something else and worth the effort! Plus the chef and the server, they were both super cool guys!!

My rice and peas, was uncle Ben’s white rice with about 6 peas in it. My snapper was fried so well done that there was no meat left to eat. I waited 30 minutes for garbage. The service was also terrible. Owner couldn’t decide if she even wanted to cook the food I ordered and I had to wait 5 minutes just for my food to be bagged, because there was something more important going on in the cashiers phone. Never eating here again.

I love my black businesses but this has to be said so they can IMPROVE. I Ordered a LARGE Curry Chicken meal with 2 sides. Portion was VERY small. Food was cold as ever. Curry was very watery and chicken was bland. Plantains was rotten and spoiled. Macaroni was a very small circle portion was very over seasoned. Idk how you over season mac and cheese and not chicken. All for $14. I really wanted to enjoy this but was let down hard. I had to throw all my food away. I couldn’t eat any of it. Get it together family, please.

This is my first time visiting. The customer service was good, however I got the Jerk wings meal and the chicken wings were old and dry. The sauce is good on the rice, but the wings were truly not fresh. I also try the veggies pattie and that was dry and over cook also.

Food is ok. I signed up for a reward plan…that stated once you have purchase 10 times & scan the key card that they give you, you will receive a Free Meal. Well once I reached my 10 times, and tried to receive my free meal. The Cook or Owner denied it. He started coming up with all kinds of excuses not to give me the meal. Also the last few times I arrived for food, the beed patties were burnt. So for these reasons, I will never spend my money there again.

I eat here frequently and love the Tobago wraps, however recently I ordered a oxtail Tobago wrap & got 2-3 tiny pieces of oxtail the tip of my pinky finger size (I’m 5’1 so my hands are small) one piece was mostly fat and the rest was alot of rice and cabbage.as much as I eat here I shouldn’t be giving a bad rating, but I feel the quality of the food has gone down tremendously idk what changed but please fix because I like coming here and want to support this business. This is the only Trini restaurant I’ve been too but I’m sure that a Trini mom’s home cooking is more authentic then the food I’ve recently received. And the jerk sauce just taste like barbeque, please add more flavor to all the food that will keep customer’s coming, I’ve now just been going here because of the convenience and affordable price but the quality is not up to par. I know it’s not Jamaican food but I’d rather go to one sometimes. Please fix the plantains portions as well and the macaroni pie I had was too dry, very dissapointing. Also time for orders should be considered me and my cousin ordered food and waited an hour for two plates, not exaggerating with the time, we had a ride waiting on us .

I was running late and needed something really quick and delicious. The staff was very professional, knowledgeable, and clean! The food was absolutely amazing! I don’t find many places where i can get great Caribbean food at such a great price!

I’ve eaten here maybe 5 or 6 times before. The first time my oxtails were a little dry, but I’m guessing that was an off day because every other time it’s been Really Good…., only issue I have is the food is expensive and you don’t really get much at all. I always order a small plate of oxtails over rice and peas which usually comes up to about $15 and some change. But it only comes with like 2 or 3 oxtails…,which again really isn’t much for $15…, the sides aren’t really served in plentiful portions either…., But they staff is always so pleasant and the food does come out fast!

This place is 3 minutes from my house I’m hungry so I go there to get a veggie plate. For 2 sides its $7 for 3 sides it’s $10. Not only is the price ridiculous but for the amount of food and the quality and presentation of the food they should be ashamed to call themselves a carribean restaurant. I paid $7.41 for a few pieces of over fried plantains and a cup of rice lightly doused in some imitation jerk like sauce. I can get more food for that price at Taco Bell! Next time I’ll drive that extra 5 minutes and drive to golden krust where I can get real food, enough to keep me full and have left overs and pay less and have better customer service. I tried to give them a chance but never again.
