Great yakitori near Sawtelle – was busy when I got there but able to get seat at the bar. Good quality grilled food and prompt service.

Love sea bass, yellowtail collar, corn, stuffed shiitake, dried smelt, and eggplant. Pretty expensive but delicious. I would try some different dishes next time. The black cod, squid, oyster are sold out.

One of the best Yakitori places in West LA area! The manager and staff were all super nice and helpful. Sat at the counter and watched the chefs work on grill which was even more enjoyable. I recommend you try the grilled squid, eggplant, chicken meat ball, pork belly and the miso cod.

A great yakitori for grilled organ lover, but less fun for people who are not into adventure. Went on a Saturday night, and waited for 15 minutes, plenty of free parking spots next / behind the restaurant. Very friendly staff and the chef would walk around to greet the customers – believe a lot of them have been customers for years, if you sit at the bar, you could see the grilled process in front of you. Loved all the organs especially chicken gizzards and heart. The scallop and stuff mushrooms were also good. Black cod was supposed to be the best but sold out. Most of food had a light flavour and I had to add some chilli pepper salt to them. Shiso chicken was my least favorite item since it was overcooked. The payment machine didn’t work, so you had to put down the tip number during the first time you got the bill, unless you’re tipping with cash. Something to note.

Authentic Yakitori with entertainment courtesy of the impatient newbies having conniptions over the reservation system & dining protocols. Repeat after me: there’s a minimum, you need a res or be prepared to wait, leave the Amex/discover cards at home and bring your vax card.

The worst owner and the service. Food is average but over priced. I’ve been there a few times and I am pretty sure the the owner is a racist. He asked us to pay with cash because the machine had broken but I saw when that he took a credit card from the table next to me and they were Caucasians. At the very first time I thought I’m overthinking or I’m too sensitive, but next time I had a very similar experience which is related to related discrimination. The Japanese owner say hi to only white. Even he is an Asian. This is so funny. Even some of my friends have similar experience. Their food is not bad, but not that great but the owners attitude was very unpleasant. There are a lot of good restaurants over there, so I recommend not to go there. It’s not worth it.

My daughter and I went to this restaurant on a Monday night to meet with our friend Avi. There was plenty of parking on the street and there is parking behind the restaurant. We had a great time here. The food was delicious and the wait staff made sure our water glasses were full. We would definitely return again.

My husband and I visited her 4 years ago. It was amazing then. And it was amazing again. Coming from San Francisco we were expecting the price for the quality of food that we received to be much higher than what we paid. We will visit this place every time we vacation in L.A.

Great food. One of the best Japanese Yakitori in West Coast. Friendly people and great owner. Been coming here for last 25 years. Owner has more silver hairs but same old great services. Well done and keep it up.
