Tucked behind the historic United Theatre, Nana’s is an organic bakery and pizza shop, and restaurant. We offer naturally leavened dough using regional and sustainably grown grains. We bake our bread and pastries fresh daily after a long, slow overnight cold fermentation to develop flavor and improve nutrition. Using the fantastic mold koji, grown by our sister company Moromi Shoyu, we leverage flavor and amplify umami in our pizzas, drinks, and baked goods. Come join us in our cozy dining room or sit at our bar where we serve libations, organic espresso by Canyon Coffee, organic tea by Leaves and Flowers, or enjoy some of our housemade kombucha.

A really cozy, clean, and modern cafe! Great coffee as well as sandwiches and pizza. You can put this place in Brooklyn and it would still be standing out!

Had one of the best meals of my life there last night, a lemon ricotta pash. Fresh and delicious. The service was attentive and nice. Had the donuts for breakfast earlier in the month and they were worth checking out. I made reservations in advance which was quick and easy. I would definitely come again.

A hidden gem in Westerly! The doughnuts are incredible- light, fluffy, and made to order (so they come out hot)! The lemon vanilla was my favorite. Make sure to grab one of their lattes too- the spiced ginger and LA are perfect for sipping on a cold Rhode Island day.

One of the most horrid, foul tasting burgers I have ever tasted in my entire life. I have had poor burgers in my life but NEVER had a burger that was so bad i couldn’t even eat. But this one takes the trophy. I was starving and honestly could not even take more than 2 bites. Completely ruined my appetite. Asked for burger medium rare and came out burnt to a crisp with absolutely zero flavor. Burger was so dry it was turning into crumble. Absolutely disgusting, didn’t even taste like meat! Would rather eat a burger off the side of the road

Lovely eatery tucked away behind the United Theater. Met a friend for coffee one morning. We sat outside. Great fun! Kind staff. The food is mostly organic pastry and pizza! Bring your friends and enjoy.

After reading an article about Nana’s opening in Westerly, we drove from Connecticut to try their breads, pizza and other vegan menu items. The food was incredibly delicious and flavorful and well worth the hour drive. Met friends for lunch and had the bean and local veggie salad in a bread bowl and the Seacoast mushroom and miso pizza. Both were very unique, savory and filling. Good portions, creative food combinations, and so tasty. The food was so good, after going to the beach we went back for dinner! We had the special cucumber and fresh tomato salad with dill and the heirloom bean tempeh burger with mushrooms. The tempeh burger was like no other I have ever had and it was just amazing! They also had excellent homemade chai tea and Matcha lattes. We couldn’t leave without getting the rye koji porridge bread which had the most divine texture and taste. We will definitely be returning.

Nana’s Westerly doesn’t disappoint – we had the risotto balls to start – crunchy – flavorful cream sauce w basil – delicious mussels w light tomato broth – the pizzas were out of the world When you combine really bang fresh ingredients- with a killer crust – you get a pizza that defies cosmic laws – yet redefines what is really great food! A must try ! And for desert a cacio e pepe donut!

hands down my favorite bakery/coffeeshop turned bar at night on earth (from someone who’s traveled 40+ countries). nanas ingredients, quality, atmosphere, creative menus options and taste are all truly superb. the house made syrups and canyon coffee brand are high end at an affordable price. Highly recommend the mushroom ricotta toast, and made to order fresh sourdoughnuts. you will not be disappointed!
