Quite, large window seat looking out onto the street. Greeted by smiling, friendly staff. Questions were answered with great knowledge. Atmosphere here is nice and friendly. Wasn’t to much noise and last but not least it was very clean!

GREAT food. Only three people working on Sunday afternoon. But they got our To-Go order out in about 30 minutes WITH 10 orders ahead of us. Thank you for a great Sunday lunch while traveling in our RV to Texas.

The food here was super delicious. The atmosphere is also very stellar. The service was also exceptional. The wait was pretty long but it was very worth it since the food was super good. One of the best soulfoods I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place if you are around the area.

The best plate in town, the food here is absolute ambrosia. Nana’s spices so that it enhances the flavors without overwhelming. The portions I’ve received are generous, always hot and freshly cooked. I am a big fan of hot water bread and theirs is so very good and to top all that off, the banana pudding, it is exquisite, I think the best I’ve ever enjoyed. Today Nana’s only served takeout and no dine in but I’ll take that any day.

Have eaten here many time prior to today 4/28/23 and the food was excellent. We had high hopes but those were shattered. My husband’s food came after about a 45 min wait and his pork chop look as dry as it could be. 15 mins later a lady came and told my son to pick something else as they had no fries chicken-he picked the pork chop and I also at that time said I had ordered fried chicken and was told to pick something else—about 10 mins later my son got his plate with a dried out pork chop plate but I had no plate. Both my son and husband finished eating after another 20 mins and I still had no plate. I walked to the front and asked for my money back (like the lady at the table next to us did) I waited while the lady went to the kitchen-then she came back and I said my husband did not get his banana pudding she just looked at me and I asked if there was any desert and she said no. At this try Ike I was sensing somehow this was my fault and I just said keep my money and walked out with my family. Needless to say I will not be back

Literally I would give them zero stars. We waited for over a hr. Then when we asked for our money back the lady told me our plates are being fixed right then. 20 mins later she came out and said they ran out of the food we had ordered. So we got our money back and left !!!

Just the name caught my attention, I mean who doesn’t love soul food! This is like being served by your grandma with love! The food melted in your mouth and every bite was delicious! We arrived a little late in the day so several items were sold out but no matter what you get I’m sure it will be yummy! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing. The food and service were incredible. We went for lunch with three young kids. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and made sure we made the best selections for our kids. Our kids loved the food as much as we did. We can’t wait to go again.
