For the lovers of little mom and pop shops, the hidden gem Nana’s will hit the spot. A taste of New York dog in downtown Pittsburgh. Fast friendly service and the hot dogs are superb! A wide variety of other items on the menu including home cooked breakfast! If you find yourself in the area, it’s worth a try.

Nana is great, she welcomed us new commers from Nebraska with open arms. We had the best hot dogs we’ve had in years. The staff get it, they are legitimately happy and grateful to work and serve. It was packed. Park at the garage across the street. The price is right and go with the traditional New York Style if you are a first timer. We’ll be back!! Thank you.

This was one of my favorite places until one day my wife and i drove from north Versailles there 4 hotdogs. After opening we each found hair in both hotdogs. A long blond hair strand from one end to the other like it was intentional, this was take out. We both were terribly disappointed and never returned…this was hard 2 figure, i can understand mistakes but the same hair in both hotdogs?
