Almost forgot about this little “gem” of a restaurant! Beautiful atmosphere with chandeliers and tables spaced at a reasonable distance! Top notch piano entertainment on Saturday night, possible Wednesday and Friday also( call to confirm). Food priced for value and BYOB! Great for a romantic dinner! The veal chop Milanese and Halibut dishes were Top Shelf! Appetizers we’re nice portions. Don’t be in a rush because each dish cooked to order!

Nana’s kitchen was recently suggested by a local to visit for a mom and pop’s like place. My boyfriend and I went casual wearing jeans on the spur of the moment. We felt under dressed. There was a piano and a singer on a Wednesday evening. (And he was good) Our waiter welcomed us in and was personable and professional. The place was decorated in a lovely way and the food was delicious! We will definitely return.

Food and service are always top notch at Nana’s! We have had random dinners, celebrations, repasts and even a wedding here. I can’t say enough great things about the quality of the food and service. There are two rooms and beautiful high ceilings. You might have to look for Nana’s because it’s hard to see from the main highway but its distance from the busy road is a plus, if anything. Try the cod loin, and the meatballs and the NY Strip steak and the calamari and save room for cheesecake.

First, I am a huge fan of Nana’s. I am a frequent customer and have introduced this fine restaurant to many friends. The service is excellent and the music adds to the ambiance. Most of the time, the food is outstanding. However, last night I came with friends to enjoy a Saturday evening. I ordered the penne vodka which was tasteless. I was surprised. The other 3 guests ordered seafood entrees (tuna and cod). The portions were appetizer size, to be generous, leaving those that ordered seafood hungry. I realize times are difficult for restaurant owners but rather than compromise your standards and skimp on quality and portions, raise the entree to the prices you need. I hope last night was the exception to the rule.

I have eaten here a few times and nothing has been less than exceptional. Linguini with white clam sauce is one of my favorite dinners. I have to say that after eating it for 30 years this is now my favorite place to order it. The Murphy style pork chip is also amazing hot or sweet.
