Came here for a great family brunch and chill as it has been on our list for some time now. Cute little area filled with shops, sitting and grass areas, and other restaurants. It’s like a mini Pearl hidden in the trees of San Antonio.

The patio is just super outstanding! Very very great atmosphere. A guy there were super helpful to set up a baby’s seat, help bringing water and everything.

The location is in a very nice hideaway spacious garden, so just driving into it or walking into it to find it makes for an exciting time of expectation. The food does take a bit, and it is a bit overpriced not highly overpriced for what you get, but the food does have a good taste. They do work well with their seasoning. Beginning with their salsas, which are amazing, I knew I’d like the food. For me, the salsa taste tells me everything because personally, I’ve worked my entire life on getting salsa to taste amazing, and I’ve only accomplished good thus far. I can’t rate my own salsa a 5 yet. I’m still working in mastering it. Sometimes I hit it but not everyday. I’m an excellent cook but can’t always get my salsa right. So, if I visits a Mexican restaurant, and their salsas are great not just good as mine, I can already tell, a special hand is behind that kitchen. Anyhow, the two red ones were great, but I didn’t like the green one. It was a bit sour and hard to enjoy but good enough to try. The food was al eaten. There wasn’t anything we couldn’t eat because it was bad. I was a little upset that my reservation ended up without the table by the edge for scenery of the green trees and creek, but a family left right after we sat, so we were able to move. My chicken soup had very little shredded chicken, cheese, and rice, but the broth tasted very good. I enjoyed it. The chicken taco was nicely seasoned and very enjoyable. The ground beef with Huitlacoche (edible fungus that grows in corn) that taste amazing in my opinion. It is a Mexican gastronomical, well-known, delicacy even when it is a fungus. They are those blackish pieces in the ground beef taco. My daughter said her enchiladas were not very good because they needed cheese. She was upset about the no cheese, but I tried the sauce, and it tasted very good, but I have to agree that it needed cheese myself. I wouldn’t have enjoyed those strong flavors without cheese myself. My son said the chicken and cheese chilaquiles were great! My other son enjoyed the French Toast as my daughter did. We left a 15% tip, but with all honesty, a full 15% is not necessary since they don’t have a server to cater to their guests. Even salsas have to be picked up if you need more as well as napkins or other, so it would be entirely up to you. Maybe a 10% is more accurate for this scenario. This would be your choice just like you can give more if you want, but I personally have a problem giving a full tip for a no server restaurant where you get extras all yourself. Often times, I find myself doing it anyways, but do not feel pressured. Still, I enjoyed my time and location. We took good pics. We had a fine time. I would go back again someday for certain.

The food was pretty good. The two young gentlemen spent most of their time serving customers and making sure that they didn’t need anything.

Our food was absolutely delicious, we had the Aztec Omelette, chorizo tacos and chilaquiles divorciados. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were decent enough that we were full by the end. Although the wait time was over 40minutes we appreciated being told ahead of time and enjoyed a nice stroll around the area and the scenery from our table. Definitely go for the cucumber water, it is so yummy!

Nestled in a woodsy area by a small river. They have floor to ceiling windows so you can enjoy the beautiful tranquil view while eating brunch inside. Ordered guac and chips and Naco omelet which were pretty good. Service was fantastic!
