Tried this place for the first time last night. We were seated right away. The place had steady business but was never packed which, as a customer, I appreciate because I don’t like packed restaurants. Yes, I know a packed restaurant usually signifies a popular restaurant, but again as a customer, I avoid packed ones (but that’s just me). They had a Bloody Mary special so I ordered it. It was awesome. It was a little unexpected that a Mexican restaurant would make such a good Bloody, but they did. Maybe next time, I’ll try their Margarita. I ordered the spicy chicken nachos as my entree. It was decently sized and had fresh guacamole on it. It was very good. After my second Bloody, I was told I needed to try their Tres Leches cake so I ordered one to share with the table. It was amazing. So, why only 4 stars and not five, you ask? Two reasons. One is that you do not get complimentary chips and salsa with your meal like most Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. They are $6 here. Even if they were something a lot more reasonable like $2 or something or free with certain entrees, it would be better. Before disregarding this statement and saying “other restaurants charge for appetizers,” think about every other sit-down Mexican restaurant you have been to and ask yourself how many don’t offer complimentary chips and salsa. You probably won’t remember many; it’s just something that’s kind of expected from this type of restaurant and probably doesn’t cost those restaurants much but customers really value. The second reason for only 4 stars is because the restaurant was pretty loud even though it wasn’t packed. It’s all hard surfaces with no acoustic panels to help dampen the sound. I can’t imagine how loud this place would be if it were packed. That all said, it was a great overall experience and I will go back. I like to be constructive in my comments because I think it can be helpful for other diners and the owners alike.

The food was phenomenal! The service was excellent. I recommend the Nachos with Tinga chicken. And make sure you get the dessert. The churros are piping hot and the 3 Leches cake was sooooo good.

I must say the empanadas were pretty good. If you like spicy the red spicy salsa is a must. Not the best mexican food I’ve had. but it wasn’t bad.

We had wanted to try this place for awhile. We made it over there on Wednesday for dinner. It was not very busy. The server was excellent and the food was good, I jazzed it up with a bit more spice. I had Carnitas and my husband had the Chicken Tinga, both were excellent. The chips were amazing, along with the salsa and guacamole. I definitely recommend this place and will be back again. It’s not the best Mexican food I’ve had, (except the chips, the chips are the best I’ve had) but for the great service and the price, it is definitely a go to place for us. Shout out to the female server/bartender that was working by herself on May 3, she was great. And also the cook! Thank you!

We had a very good meal. Enjoyed it and we’ll return in the future. Husband had steak fajitas and I had the total Cubana sandwich with fries.

Went there for the first time last night for take out. My boyfriend and I got red sauce enchiladas, empanadas, a chimichanga, carne asada, quesabirria tacos, a fish taco, tres leches cake and flan (don’t judge lol) and all of it was awesome. The bartender was really, really nice, all that food only took about 20 min and we won some money in big bar while we waited. Definitely going back!
