I ordered a chicken Tikka and lamb curry my goodness it was super spicy we couldn’t finish our dinner. Please can there options when ordering via Doordash like mild or medium or super spicy. For the curries, not everyone eats spicy food like this.

Ok, I really appreciate that when I forgot to order rice, the restaurant comped it and included it in my Postmates order. Everything was great, the mango lassi, the chicken Tikka masala, the lamb kabob, the palak paneer, the rice, except the 4 pieces of naan. For some reason, they had no flavor, which for Naan & Curry, was shocking. Have you changed your flour or the way you make it? I don’t know, but that, honestly, is what makes me come back more than anything else.

My husband an I just randomly chose this Indian place to have dinner before the concert. We had enough time and planned to dine in, but next moment we entered I realized that the only way we can eat their food it’s take out. They probably had problems with sewage and smell in the restaurant was so bad that there was no way to have dinner there. And that was strange too no smell of cooking food that can reduce the stink. We ordered our food to go and spend our waiting time in the comics shop next door. Food came fast, 10minutes not more. We took it and had outdoor in Jack London square which is not far from that place.

It was pretty much empty, no costumers. I ordered chicken Tikka masala, naan, rice and chicken tandoori. Chicken Tikka masala was really good, but the rest was not so. I think garlic naan was frozen and they just microwave. Honestly, I feel the same about the rest of the items in my order. Rice was uncooked straight out from boiling. Fried chicken was very small. So it’s not enough for one person. I would recommend only chicken Tikka masala and that is only if you’re really hungry and nothing is open…

We were looking for a restaurant for a quick Chaat and tea in the afternoon and found this place in downtown Oakland. They didn’t have chai and the food lacked salt. Naan was ok and the matter paneer was below average, lots of spice but not flavorful.

Glad to see they are still in business during Covid 19. Curry lamb and curry chicken very spicy. Not enough. Lots of sauce but little meat. Came from San Jose but they did not have roti, had to settle for naan.

We ordered a to go chicken curry naan bread and a tikka masala last evening. Very disappointed with the tikka masala a watery spicy soup gristle meat…nothing like the creamy tasty dish we had elsewhere. Stay away from this menu item!
