I liked this experience. Sat in the little bar area on East Main Street, and it was quiet and pleasant. Not so many tourists, nice. Was just cruising the coast and stopped in, parking on a side street. I had a slice of pepperoni and a coke. Perfect casual way to start my beach tripping. Never saw the film, and I’m NOT a pizza snob. This was not the worst nor the best. It was just right for me.

I was on my way to Mohegan Sun casino and decided to stop at this famous pizza place. Part of the allure is definitely the quaint village atmosphere. I walked around the town, visiting many of the local shops before walking in. I ordered the house special pizza, which comes with onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, ham and cheese. I loved it! Service was good so I have no complaints in that department. They have a small gift shop if you liked the movie and restaurant. I think it’s worth a visit.

What’s so mystic about this eatery? Of course, it’s the pizza…great tasting pizza that is! Go there for early lunch (before noon) because this place fills up quickly during lunch time. We did dine-in and service was excellent from server Stephanie. Parking, especially on a weekend, might be a problem bc this area in general is small and a tourist trap. Nevertheless, we had fun visiting Mystic little town, nice pit stop, too. Before heading back home, of course…we have to grab a take out to enjoy another round of pizza!

This is a must try in Mystic. If you love seafood, you will love the Seafood Pizza! The scallops are divine! The garlic bread with cheese is surprisingly light and cheesy! Will definitely go back here!

Mel was amazing. She was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. She recommended the French fries and onion rings with bang bang sauce. The pizza was very cheesy but an appropriate proportion to the sauce, crust and topping. Definitely check it out and sit on the patio if you get the chance.

Deceptively large inside pizza shop, best known from the movie Mystic Pizza. We had a half pepperoni and half Texas chicken bbq pizza, and both were terrific. The crust is what impressed me the most, tender and delicious. All the ingredients were quality and it makes such a huge difference. The walls are covered in movie and sports memorabilia, and the atmosphere is laid back. Attentive waitress had patience for our indecisive crew, and kept check on us without being intrusive. If you are in Mystic, this is a must visit.

If you are visiting Mystic , CT, you need to stop in at Mystic Pizza for a slice of heaven. I ordered a large cheese pizza. The pizza came out hot and fresh. Any questions I had were answered and the staff were friendly! If you did not know the movie Mystic Pizza, it was filmed on location and surrounding areas. It was released in 1988.

It was OK. Service was good food was not worth the money. Got a small pizza that was no better than Pizza Hut for $23. Wife got a salad that was mainly lettuce and the added chicken had no flavor. Pictures of the movie everywhere and TV’s playing it on repeat too. Honestly this may be a bucket list if you like the movie but you can skip if not.

My wife really wanted to go to this restaurant because of the movie “Mystic Pizza “. I never saw it, but hey, why not. There’s at least two locations, we went to the one near downtown where the movie was filmed. Quarky layout, but that adds to the charm. In the section we were at, they had the movie playing, I suppose nonstop. The service was good, friendly, and attentive. Started with the fried pickles. Huge, helping! Four of us, didn’t finish it! We had the four cheese pizza with peppers in it. (Not too hot). Good crust, and it was definitely not a thin crust pizza. It was delicious. Our friends had a loaded pizza that they enjoyed as well. My wife and I were able to split a small pizza and were satisfied with that portion. When in town is a must! They have a menu that has more than pizza. There are plenty of other things to choose from.
