MY Place BBQ has been in Muskogee for over 90 years. There are 2 locations. My Place East and My Place West. The one on the east side has a daily buffet. You can also order right off the menu. The staff at both locations are very attentive. The food is always good and the salad bar is fresh. If you are looking for a good BBQ joint stop in.

I order two meals one was a chicken sandwich. The chicken breast was so small it was gone in three bits. The food was cold as ice as if they made it yesterday. TERRIBLE place to eat. I’m including a photo of the real chicken sandwich that they serve for $10.

Visiting Muskogee we made a stop in for lunch. I was mortified that they served Kraft Macaroni as their “Mac n Cheese”. Green beans taste straight from a can, cold and flavorless. And the Catfish, well, I’ve had better fish sticks at home. Definitely would not recommend. I’m sorry to say it. But wow it was just such an unbelievably poor experience. Terrible Quality.

Just came from there had a call in order. I ordered the 2 meat 2 sidesand they gave 2 fishstick size fish and a very very small like n a sauce cup of pulled pork i was looking for my meat n open tgat and my slaw n tarted sauce way more than meat. And the price right at 16 for it i threw it n the garbage. Team runts from now on. Were i know its worth it.

I ate the all you can eat buffett. It was okay and if you just have to have BBQ, well, I suppose that it will work. However……… I bought some food to take home to my husband for supper and I didn’t check the bag before I left. The ribs were burnt, so completely burnt that i couldn’t chew it. I mean that when I took that crispy chunk of meat and tried to peel it off, it broke with the bone and was just as hard. On to the sides………..you know when you order a side of anything to take home? Like, if you order a dinner then you would expect those sides to be in a carton with the rest of the meal and would also expect it to be a dinner sized portion? Well, I ordered these ribs and other meat then I ordered the sides to go with it, this was no dinner. The portion that they sent was NOT the typical PINT sized portion, IT WAS A DINNER PORTION FOR ONE PERSON!!!!!!! Oh, hahhhahhahahhahahaha, and the BBQ, hahhahahaha they sent 11 itty bitty cups of sauce…. this is ELEVEN cups, of 1 ounce portions of sauce.

We arrived at 1250pm. The waitress asked if we we’re having the buffet which we agreed to. When we went to the heat trays there was barely any food at all and what was there was burnt and left because no one would eat it. We got salads and waited patiently for the food to be restocked. It never came. So we asked a different waitress if they would bring out more food and we were informed that the buffet “shuts down at 2pm”. It was 110pm. If we wanted anything she would “bring it from the kitchen”. This branch doesn’t come close to the service and food quality of the Westside My place. Rolling silverware was more important than the customer. The sauce even tastes different. Drenched in Anise. This is the third strike for the Eastside joint. We paid $15.49 apiece for a buffet we didn’t get. Will not return. I would not recommend it.
