Ok! I came here for some quick nachos, but I had no idea I was going to leave converted to nachoism. Upon entering, I got a sense of, “ok, regular, schmgular Mexican joint” NOT! I ordered their chorizo nachos, and it was to die for! I gotta say, the BEST. Warning! Nachos for one, adequate portion, you’re not gonna want to share with anyone.

Amazing authentic Mexican food. Nothing in the area comes close. My wife and I have gone to several places up here because we truly missed good Mexican food and this place is hands down the best. Truly feel like a second home when it comes to the quality and freshness.

Stopped by on a Saturday after calling ahead to make reservations for 4:30pm. There were only 2 people at the bar but the restaurant was empty otherwise. Our server was a young kid with glasses. He was really polite and personable. I had a house margarita and almost snorted it down, it was soooo good, omg! We got complimentary chips and sauce at the table. Everything we ate was so well seasoned and cooked. Even the rice and beans seemed special somehow. The portions were huge and we could barely finish our entrees so we had them to go. We would definitely return here for dinner sometime!

Food was very delicious. Tacos ate delicious, margarita was okay, but the rice and beans were on point. Service was extremely slow and there were only a few tables. Also on the pricey side. I know everything is more expensive but this is a bit much. Won’t be a regular but more of a once in a blue.

Was there about two weeks ago. When we got there no other customers were there, so there was no excuse for the horrible service provided. Had to ask 4 times for water and silverware. Ordered 2 appetizers that never came. When the waitress, after 45 minutes, brought our entrees to us, I asked, what about our appetizers? Her face looked like she knew she messed up, but what she said was that the kitchen messed up… so she didn’t take responsibility for the error. Then the manager came out and begged us to still take the tostones, but made no mention of the chips and guac we also ordered and never got. If the manager was classy, he should have offered something, a free drink, or even a sincere apology, but instead he charged us for over garlicy tostones. I guess I could have put up a fuss, but I just wanted to get out of there. It’s a shame too because this place is really close to where we live, but we will never go back.

Just got back from visiting this place for the first time ever with a couple of my girls. We were surprised upon arrival how quickly we were able to get a table. We believe the boss was there and greeted us with a warm smile and tended to us beginning of the night. I always take that into account and appreciate the contact and effort to touch base with customers. Margaritas were strong and good and we enjoyed the food very much. I had mango habanero wings and a steak burrito bowl and ate it all up. My friends ordered ribeye tacos, calamari, and carnitas tacos and they were happy with their food as well. I made sure to order food to bring home to my family and they too believe the food to delicious. Next time I plan to bring them along and try out new dishes.

The owner was extremely nice to us. He spoke to us for a while and made great conversation. There was large portions with delicious authentic Mexican food. Delicious drinks with many many options of tequila. Guacomango was absolutely to die for.

It’s a crime that is place is SO underrated. Just a quick drive from Yorktown, Cortlandt, or Peekskill. First off, if you love tequila or mezcal, this is the place you should be drinking. The mixed drinks are unique and the selection of alcohol is almost dizzying. The owner and staff truly try to make you feel like you are at “my second home”, very hospitable and funny. The food is priced well for the quality; really tasty, fresh, authentic Mexican with quality ingredients that is harder to find around here than you think (the last time I ate cactus and carnitas this good, I was in Arizona). I saw another review saying that the portions are small- maybe compared to the average Mexican-American joint around here that piles a bunch of fried food on top of beans and rice, perhaps- but I guarantee you’ll be full without feeling disgusting afterwards. Don’t feel like sitting down? The deli next door is owned by the same people, is also criminally underrated, and offers really good food, Mexican or otherwise. For those looking for night life, the owner schedules a bunch of events, and they have a large space inside with a DJ booth. Plenty of parking as well. Give it a try, it might become your favorite spot!
