If I could give this place a ZERO star I would. Got 3 meats & 2 sides with a dinner roll in a to-go container for like $23 … it looked like I ordered 1 meat there was hardly anything in the container. It looked like a cafeteria plate, just pathetic. The service was rude, they got my meal together within a minute because it was all pre-paid garbage.

Ordered 1 lb of sliced smoke sausage, and ½ lb sliced brisket. I know it was either microwaved or in a warmer for days. Moist could never be confused with the product I was given. My dogs got $25 worth of rubber meat. I don’t bother even complaining the owner is Carlsbad’s food health inspector, if he doesn’t know the quality of his own food maybe he should inspect his own kitchen.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place took 40 minutes to get my food ready and it tasted like and looked like the brisket was microwave. Also, she did not wait to put the food in the Styrofoam because the styrofoam was melted from the food.

I loved this place! I tried the pick three meats with sides. The hot links were great and the BBQ sauce was delicious! I recommend you try the spicy BBQ sauce. The service was very friendly and efficient. This is a very small location don’t blink you might miss it but so worth the stop!

I’ve traveled north, south, east, and west, and all throughout I’ve had good BBQ and bad BBQ. This place just happened to be the worst BBQ. On the positive side, the guy taking our order was friendly and a conversationalist. Ordered the 3 meat combo (brisket, pulled pork and sausage). It was literally floating in greasy oil. Disgusting! Brisket on top was dried out. Everything underneath was saturated with oil and inedible. No smokey flavor. Sausage was 4 thin slices cut across a link. Pork was very fatty. The roll was cold with no butter. Cole slaw obviously came out of a 5 gallon tub. Baked beans were from a can. Only 1 sauce on table and it was thin and bland. Even the beer was not enjoyable because he served the Corona with no lime. Glad I was just passing through because I won’t go there again.

Great food and friendly service. We had to eat there because we on a road trip and even though it was raining they happily walked the food to the outdoor covered eating area. Staff even came and checked on us a few times. I got the brisket and my friend got the pulled pork. The mac and cheese, okra, and cole slaw were amazing too. Overall delicious food for a good price
