Really high quality sushi and Japanese food. The fish is fresh and the sushi rice is good. We come here for takeout weekly now that we’ve discovered it. It’s a great addition to Ravenna! Definitely worth a try!

This is the cutest Japanese place in the area. Their food is so good. The prices beat most other restaurants in Ravenna.

We’ve ordered take-out from Muto multiple times since moving to the neighborhood, and generally we’ve been happy. But our most recent experience definitely left a bad taste in our mouth – literally and figuratively. The raw fish items have always been fresh and delicious, as is the veggie tempura, but the combo chicken and beef teriyaki we tried this last time was absolutely awful – and that’s being generous. The chicken was so tough and flavorless, it was practically inedible (our child literally spit it out and refused to eat more). And there were two very tiny, thin strips of beef that were at least 75% fat – also totally inedible, and that’s all the beef that was included. We literally threw out the whole meal in our compost bin. It’s shocking that our Chirashi bowls and this food came out of the same kitchen given the total 180 in quality between the two.

Rolls, not bowls. Rolls, not bowls. Say it with me. The rolls are great — fresh and cheap, with decent rice. The (teriyaki) bowls are not. [the chirashi bowl is pretty good too but that is 1/2 roll, 1/2 bowl]

They have an “okay” rating from the food department. Hopefully this will improve so I can try this place, but just leaving this review so others are aware.

This was a great Japanese izakaya for convenient takeout. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. I’ve visited many times and enjoyed different items. My favorites are the spicy tuna crunch roll, the curry bowl with chicken karaage, and the gyoza!

Noodles taste like they’re cheap instant noodles, and the soup is obviously made with instant packaging. The meat in the ramen is quite hard and not tender.

Very fresh sushi, delectable gyoza. We ordered the crunch California roll, avocado rolls, karaage and tempura bowls and the Seattle roll. Only the veggie roll was a bit disappointing. They should use some pickled daikon like they use in Korean vegetarian sushi rolls. Otherwise, reasonably priced and delicious!

We love this restaurant. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. We like the little seating area, but today, they are only open for carry out. No eating at the little sitting area.
