Fast, friendly service. I got the mega-Rite which was really good. The sweet potato fries were just slightly underdone, but tasted good. I ate on the patio after going through the drive-through. Typical strip mall building with nice picnic tables outside. Very clean.

I haven’t been to a Maid Rite since 1984 when I lived in the Peoria Illinois area. So when I heard that they were still available in Iowa I had to get one before we left. So on our way home we stopped at the Maid-Rite in Muscatine. I have to say it was everything that I remember. The store is very nostalgic looking. It has lots of memorabilia from older times on the wall as well as vintage Made Rite signs. The Maid-Rite Sandwich was exactly how I remembered. The chili was pretty good. I enjoyed it. I don’t like spicy foods and that was perfect. My daughter had a hot dog and it was huge but she really enjoyed it. Everybody had root beer floats and since it was the hottest day of the season so far they were extra good. Our waitress was really sweet and she was very attentive. If I ever get a chance to stop by again I’ll be sure to do it.

Waited over 1/2 hr on order. 3 maid rites & fries. Waitress said ran out meat. How does a maid rite place run out off maid rite on a night when a special is going on. Waitress should have told us when took our order.
