I agree with another review, this was so much better than Golden Corral. Food was definitely made with love. The salad bar was great, pretty good variety on the food bar. The dessert bar was excellent!The cakes were fresh baked, the best peanut butter cookies, and a pretty good variety of pies. My server was always there, loved her, I wish I had gotten her name, but really everyone there was super friendly and helpful.

My family and I were on a trip and passed through this town to find something to eat. Found this gem close off the highway and stopped in. This buffet exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, food was very great, and the service was good. My husband is picky when it comes to eating out and 3 days later he is still talking about how good it was. Way better than any buffet we have been to. I wish this restaurant much success.

Murrays is one of my favorite restaurants ever. It’s the best place around here to get some good mashed potatoes and fried chicken. I go here often after work and it’s very satisfying to eat. All of the staff are so kind and very helpful. Very good salad bar.

This is what a buffet should be and everything was delicious! Traveling from KC to IL and was looking for something more than fast food, this was an amazing find. Service was great and very attentive. This may be our new route to KC just so we can stop again. Highly recommended!!

My husband and I visited Murray’s Buffet and Grill. Everything was wonderful. The food was hot and ready. A GREAT variety of food choices. Very good food. The staff was very friendly.

The salad items were numerous and fresh. The hot items were tasty. The fried chicken and the fried fish were especially good. I liked the fact that they had several different veggies available. The stewed tomatoes were excellent. The staff were cheerful and attentive.

We love the food and service at Murray’s, but their ice cream is to die for so try to save some room for that. And they always have chocolate syrup to put on top to make it even better. Yum!

Murray’s exhibits superior selection compared to 90% of comparable Buffets and the quality of the food can’t be matched! If I visit when Nick is manning the grill and Beth is serving, I know my satisfaction is guaranteed and my experience will thoroughly exceed all expectations.

Food was subpar at best. We didn’t eat much but we all felt awful afterwards. The employees were not very friendly and made you feel like a burden. The atmosphere is very dated and very few other diners. I cant see this place lasting much longer without some major changes.
