The food here is great! The service is always amazing and we’re always met with friendly smiles and a big hello. It’s like going over to Mom’s house for comfort food. Make sure you wear expandable pants and bring a big appetite because the portions are big!

Only 2 stars. used to be 5, but the last 3 times we went we have had to send the some of the fish/shrimp back because it was hard ,dried out ,not fresh , and not hot. This time, we sent the cold dry, overcooked fish back to the kitchen, but When the supposedly new fresh fish arrived at our table, it was hot, but we were unable to pierce it with a fork it was so hard, dry, and cooked to death. We are quite certain that they simply refried the fish we sent back to the kitchen and sent it back to us! This place is not cheap. On another note, the sweet young lady that was our server did a great job. Very disappointed , may have to look for a new place to bring my family.. update: they are back up.. we had a great meal.. had to tell the waitress to make sure that are fish was fresh and not overcooked.! ,::::::::::’Update!!!! The place has has gone through a change, the food / service is great !!!! 5 plus ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everyone that works there is so sweet, and welcoming. The food was delicious, and our service was wonderful. This was my first time eating there, and I’ll definitely go back. I had the seafood platter, and everything was good.

Great food, pretty good service. Hate that they put such a large group at a small table and were putting smaller parties at larger tables. Where’s the sense in that? We were very crowded at our table but did not ask to switch. They were busy. I will give them that.

Oh wow, Murphy’s is always such a treat! Whether you are dining in or stopping by for takeout, they never disappoint! Their catfish is always cooked just right, seasoned to perfection…. hushpuppies will make you cry they are so good…even their coleslaw is delish! Oh, and I’ve tried their shrimp salad – it was perfect ! Great stop!

We like to order the grilled catfish and it is outstanding. Love the hush puppies and turnip greens too. The staff is friendly and efficient.
