First timers: there is no where to sit down and await your order as they do most orders to be fresh to order. There are no chairs or anything while you wait and the wait can be a long time cause i had to wait for my order 20 minutes +. I remember this place having an amazing fajita platter. This one time left me to not come back anymore for the fajita platter. I think maybe ownership changed because the presentation to start with for the box food I received it was unappealing and just everything tossed together, the taste of the chicken was dry and not moist at all, the steak was hard at some points, and omg the shrimp still had their tails on them. The consistency of the flavor was very greasy and more oil usage than I would preferred. I know they make the food when the person takes the order. Your keeping your customers awaiting their orders for awhile and no chairs or anything to let customers sit down in or on. Given the atmosphere and area I can understand why for some customers may not know of having to wait awhile and having no where to sit may stop a customer returning as for one of the customers who said that actually who was in front of me. My price was $15.99 but the total came to $20+ I was so tired and did not feel like arguing so I took it. There was no bread of any sort with my order which I thought bread came with my order last time I ordered. Again, I did not feel like arguing or asking due to how tired I was already.

I wanted to go here because it’s Halal. It smelled good, but chicken wings were not cooked completely and not seasoned, and the waffle was doughy. I asked for cooked crispy.

My bf and I got food here and it was less than satisfactory. I got a cheese steak that had little to no flavor and was kinda dry and the baklava was yummy! My bf got the Mac n cheese… It was nasty. That wasn’t Mac n cheese, it was the macaroni pasta in very liquidy yellow stuff that at first tasted like nothing, then tasted like something plastic and floral? Not sure how to describe it, but never again on that… And he got the gyro that he said was good.

chicken gyro was nasty. I ordered the food in advance and still waited 20 minutes. $2.00 for a cup of ice. Ended up throwing food away. I could not eat it.

I ordered the Fujita mix (steak, chicken, shrimp) with black beans. I would suggest pickup only, the delivery service made a horrible mistake but thats no fault of Munchies. I was pleased the portion size was spot on to the advertisement! As for taste, everything was bland be prepared to season at home to desired taste! Only two fajitas were included with such a large plate. The price cannot be beat in the Oxon Hill area but you get what you pay for. The quesadillia at a close by restaurant is much better but more $$$ ie across from top golf. Would I go back to munchies? Possibly but would not be my first choice.

I order a chicken Gyro platter on DoorDash and paid 3 dollars for extra meat as well and this is what they serve , and the new chit on the counter is very rude and unprofessional , I have been there regular customer from the past year and everything was going very well until the new guy popped up and is very stingy.
