The last time we went to Mulberry Street cafe( January 2023) we had reservations at 5:45. They were busy and we weren’t seated until 6. No problem. Ordered quickly and had a delicious meal. At 6:35 a blonde woman came to take our dishes away and said she would get our check. I said I would like to see the dessert menu and she replied “ We really need to turn this table “ we ordered dessert to go , which was delicious, but we felt so unwelcome there that I don’t see us going back.

Salad tasted like chemicals, fish too. Men’s room in disrepair, old decor. Prime rib a bit on the salty side, chicken alfredo had consistency like it was from a can. Wait staff were nice and friendly.

The service was like there was never a pandemic. Your water glass never went dry, they were always attentive to your wine glass. The special of the day was more than we could eat & was delicious. I would go back in a heart beat.
