I enjoyed ‘The Stack’ which is their take on a bowl. There are varying toppings to choose and you basically build your bowl to suit your taste. The lunch menu seemed reasonably priced and for the bowl and drink I paid $10.30 eating in. The flavors were wonderful and the ingredients available were fresh. This is above the busy Walnut Creek Cheese and Market and a nice detour during your shopping below. They also have ice cream available they hand scoop for you.

We always stop by here when we are in the area. We always order the grilled chicken breast sandwiches. For sides I always have their macaroni salad. My wife always orders their sweet potato fries. They offer several different items on the menu. Everything we have tried is delicious. They have a kids menu. Our grandkids enjoyed their hot dogs and hamburgers and french fries. The kids even get a coupon for ice cream. The employees are always very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is very nice. I am certainly glad we came here a found this place. It is upstairs but you have 3 options to enter the restaurant. You can enter from the outside stairs on the east side. You can enter the store and you can take the stairs or the elevator.

So the food here is good, the people are friendly and helpful, but the pickup process for the cafe call ahead orders is awful. It’s really frustrating to have called ahead an order to save time and then stand at the pickup counter watch while the stack people filter through.

It’s nice to have a place to feed a family of 4 for less than $50, and the food is actually good! My only complaint is that they use canned mushrooms – those things should be illegal for human consumption!

We visit Amish country often but were not aware of this cafe and were pleasantly surprised. Large seating capacity, friendly staff, and the food was exceptional and reasonably priced. I got chicken salad on croissant with potato salad, hubby got a great burger and big portion of waffle fries. We will definitely be eating there again
