Visited for the first time. Can’t say enough great things about this place! Service was patient explaining the foods I didn’t know. The tacos were perfect, like food you would dream of. I wished I could stay longer, but I was on my lunch break. Stop by sometime!

They giving peanuts with dried bugs in it. I couldn’t believe what they had mix in there with their peanuts please look at the pics and video posted! Food did not taste good unfortunately. Look what they charged me for this and a small bag of stale chips!!!! This is robbery!

Delicious! I went for their happy hour and got the chips and Mole Rosado. Some of the best mole I’ve ever had. My friend got the quesabirria and it was good though I’ve had better. Will happily come again maybe to try lunch.

This restaurant serves the delicate and exquisite intricacies of the Mexican culinary experience. Don’t expect to come here feeling heavy after a meal, it is about the taste and explosion of flavor. It is now the best Mexican restaurant in DC, in my book. Not only is it a great dining experience in a beautifully intimate space but they go above and beyond with social activism. It is a true gem. The staff goes above and beyond.

Incredible food, very creative modern Mexican. We came for brunch and had their flautas, breakfast burrito with chorizo and egg, and the enfrijolados and everything was epic. Even our daughter’s bean and cheese burrito was the most gourmet version of a kids burrito I’ve ever had. Cocktails were ok. Only real downside is it’s a small spot so even though we had a reservation, we had to wait 20 mins for our table. Service was fine after that.

Ordered off the brunch menu for a late lunch and loved it (although soda is way overpriced). Very Oaxacan inspired Mexican cuisine. The Oaxacan cheese in the quesadilla was delicious, as were the braised carnitas tacos that you build yourself with a large and flavorful helping of pork and warm masa tortillas.

The enchiladas and the quesabirria were fantastic and the drinks were delicious. Chip service is a separate charge and was good but, as later discovered, we received the add-on guacamole without asking for it. No biggie. It was at least tasty. We then ran out of chips and asked for more which turned out to also be an extra charge. The nail in the coffin was an automatic 20% gratuity which soured the experience. Nothing against the servers, but all of this is more of a policy issue with food that was already pricey. Might be a decent place for lunch or take-out?

Delicious food, great service, and fabulous cocktails. One of our favorite restaurants in upper NW DC/Bethesda area. It is more authentic Mexican style, not tex-mex.

Beautiful space with a lot of natural light and my carnitas tacos were quite enjoyable. I also enjoyed how their guacamole was topped with herbs.

We had a very good brunch here on a rainy day. The Jewish tostadas was so good. The other favorite was the short rib birria. It was a chili chocolate rubbed short rib. My husband liked his fish Milanesa torts. We also had quesabirria. The strawberry and burrata at $17 was good but a bit pricy. The Harry’s strawberry sold me. The burrata was not as flavorful as some others. The Aqua Fresca at $5 was an ok value considering the ice amount but it was delicious. Overall, we were all happy an I have already made my reservation for the next brunch.
