The best thing about Mt Fuji is you can share the portions even on the hibachi side. As a bariatric patient who can only eat 7-8 ounces at a time it is nice to have this option to still be included in the fun! Some of the hibachi chefs are better then others at interaction with the guests but we’ve never had bad food. The soup/salad at the beginning aren’t our faves but the hibachi itself is very good! We love coming here but it can take a long time so be patient! Great date night spot!

If your style is low scale ambiance and fast efficient service with minimal interaction, Mt Fuji is the place for you. The decor is formica furniture meets Asian thrift store decorations. The staff provides adequate service; your drink will be refilled without asking, but chit chat and smiles aren’t included. The sushi is decent. Not the best, not the worst. The entire experience felt like a shoulder shrug, “Eh, it was okay”.

This place was okay. Nothing was bad, but nothing was amazing either. I had the sushi because of a prior bad experience with hibachi and it was okay, I’ve had better for the same price. Everyone in our party did enjoy the hibachi, so it is probably more worth it than the sushi. The sunrise cocktail tasted like orange juice, I could not tell there was any alcohol in there.

We arrived at 7:00, we were the only people at our table, and there were other tables that were waiting for their dinner before us. We understand that you have to wait to eat at a hibachi place until other people can be seated at the table and there are a limited number of chefs, but we waited 30+ minutes before we received water or someone even took our drink order. Communication goes a long way when your patrons are hungry. We love our usual chef. He is personable and makes us like coming in, but we felt rushed after we waited patiently for almost an hour before our food was started. Then everyone was waiting for us to leave at 8:15 when we began eating. It was an awkward experience. The food was good, but I would recommend making a reservation and going in early. I don’t think we will be going back anytime soon.

I was impressed by how accommodating Mt Fuji Hibachi & Sushi was to our large group, including children. They made sure everyone felt welcome and involved, which was much appreciated. Despite our extra-large group, the service was seamless, and the staff handled everything with ease. It’s refreshing to find a restaurant that caters to families and groups so well, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Kudos to Mt Fuji for their excellent service and attention!

My girlfriend and I are here to travel! The restaurant and the chef both look nice. The waiters were smiling the whole time, which made me happy. And the main dish looks very good! I went with my girlfriend and it wasn’t expensive for two. And it’s filling and delicious! Next time I have the opportunity to come to Denver. Will come again!

Johnny is so great, very funny and engaging and the food was delicious. Staff up front is nice, food is always consistent, wait times always reasonable and reservations are easy. LOTS of food for one average person, I usually take home leftovers.

We’ve been coming here for many years for sushi and hibachi. The best experience comes from having Jason as our Hibachi chef. He is so talented, knowledgeable, personable, and funny. We keep coming back to see him and he’s worth the wait every time.

Fun experience. Good food. Wait staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The grill chef was funny and joking. Made my 10 year old comfortable by including him in with all the shenanigans. The portions are HUGE, so bring an appetite.

So fun for my daughters 11th birthday! We were smiling the whole time. It was a lot of fun and they give you such large portions that we ate it for lunch the next day.
