I very much enjoyed the MS Chicken Shack! I’ve been super excited to try it ever since I moved to the area and today was the day. I called and spoke with Finn when I placed my order. He took care of everything for us and he even let us place separate orders for separate payment. He even made a joke saying that he was so lucky to be able to talk with two people to place one phone call order.

The people working here are always very pleasant. The chicken waffle bites are tasty especially dipped in the warm maple syrup that accompanies them. Mashed potatoes and potato salad are also very satisfying. Unfortunately the greens, while very tender, were in a very, very salty brown broth. There was an aftertaste I can’t put my finger on. Beef maybe? I’ve attached a picture. I removed most of the greens to get a better look at the liquid. Not something I would try again. The corn muffin that came with the meal was so incredibly dry it turned to crumb dust the minute I tried to pick it up. While not everything was on point with this meal they do make the best chicken in the valley and I’d order just chicken from here anytime.

This place is absolutely amazing, 10/10 for sure. We almost went to kfc in Chippewa and I’m so happy we decided to try the chicken shack instead. If you’re looking for your next quick chicken fix, this is the place!

This was our 1st time trying the Chicken Shack, and it def will not be our last, don’t know why we haven’t tried it sooner! We got the 16 pc meal, seeing as we are a fam of 6, and I swear I have another full meal leftover, very rarely can you feed 6 people take out for under $50. The chicken was fresh and fantastic, the mashed w the chicken gravy was fire, cornbread was warm and delicious…will definitely be back! Oh, and the employees were super nice! Thank you for a great meal!

Mashed potatoes was taste less. Corn muffins very dry and crumble and couldn’t eat them. Chicken was very salty. Cole slaw was missing still charged full price of the meal. I mean could have replaced it with another side if they were out of the cole slaw. Sum up not very good and definitely will not order from again.

Employees very nice. We anticipated some great soul food, but was disappointed with the salty chicken, dry cornbread, chemical tasting mac and cheese and green beans right out of a can. We were looking forward to the rich seasoning flavor of soul food, but it just didn’t happen.
