This place is great! It’s total diner atmosphere. One sip of the coffee brings about an enormous sense of nostalgia. We came for a late breakfast and it was not disappointing. These were literally the best biscuits and sausage gravy that I’ve ever had anywhere. All the food was top notch. My only sense of regret came as I was leaving. One of the other customers had ordered chili cheese dogs and as the waitress walked by with them, all I could think was, “I wish I was already hungry for lunch.” Oh well. I’ll get them next time. I would highly recommend stopping in at M’s Cafe if you’re in Midland Michigan.

This is the perfect hometown diner! The best biscuits and gravy I have had. Attentive and quick service. Great coffee and awesome mugs with big handles to drink it from! The prices are outstanding and the portions are more than generous. Don’t sleep on M’s cafe!

I’ve been to M’s three times for breakfast at 7am. The food and the staff are very good. The service has always been great! However, I think many of the items on their menu are too expensive. By the time you throw in a tip, you’re at almost $20 to get out of there.

Went inside and saw the “wait to be seated sign” so we waited at the entrance. Nobody greeted us, everyone stared at us. We waited at the entrance with a huge line forming behind us for at least 5 minutes before we realized when we would finally be seated, it would probably take hours for us to get our food, so we left. From our experience, it seems like this place is very understaffed and unfriendly.
