Got the blackened catfish for lunch and it was excellent. There was no liqour license at the time, but they did allow BYO. The restaurant was quiet when I was there but they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

This is an amazing restaurant ! Not only is the food amazing, but the wait staff is attentive, and management is sensitive and a dominating to food allergies. I have a gluten allergy and the manager and kitchen staff were happy to start a fresh pot of oil for frying my gosh to ensure no cross co tail I still occurred.

I had blackened catfish, dirty rice and greens. My fish wasn’t seasoned nor was my dirty rice. The greens was good but no cornbread. Service was great, owner was very personable- but it’s a NO to the food. I had chocolate cake for dessert- it was amazing

I’ve been wanting to come eat here since I tried the Cajun battered cat fish at the Fourth of July event hoping it would be just as good as I remembered and sure enough it was! My 9 year old ordered a bowl of gumbo and loved it so much he finished it in under two minutes and wanted a second bowl. My eight year old of course ordered a cheeseburger and fries but said it was the best cheeseburger he’s ever had. The waitress was super friendly and the cook even came out to make sure everything tasted fine. Needless to say if you haven’t tried this place yet my kids and I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.
