If you’re looking for the budget hole-in-the-wall authentic Chinese spot, you’ve found it. Mr. Spicy sure surprised me!

Food here was average. My bf said it’s better then the one inside the IKEA plaza. Plus prices here are fairly cheap. Tots with tip came out to be $40.

Great hole in the wall for takeout. Decent portions, saucy entrees, not too pricey. Service was friendly. Now that I know they have lunch specials, I’ll be going back.

Lunch specials!! Orange chicken was good. Hubby said he likes it better than panda.

This place is very inconsistent. It can be either great or terrible each visit. We have only ever done take out which has good portions. Sometimes, we encounter the same issue as others with a dish being far too salty. We always get the szechuan eggplant because it seems to be one of the more consistent dishes and we can use the extra sauce to cover up the saltiness of other dishes when necessary.

Waited 20 minutes for the cook to come in and start making the food. General Tso’s chicken was very disappointing. It should be sweet and sour, unfortunately there was only a salty flavor, nothing else.

This place smelled great very new and interesting to try the chicken wings taste straight like freezer burn and made my whole mouth go numb the fried calamari calamari was overly salted disgusting couldn’t even enjoy the shrimp chow mein looked good but there was only three shrimps in it so I wouldn’t really call it shrimp chow mein and orange chicken was the most decent item I ordered even the white rice was stale I wouldn’t wish this place upon my worst enemy go anywhere but here

Easily the best Chinese food I have had in San Diego thus far. The dishes are clearly authentic, and it is cool to always see the same couple working the front and back of house everyday. Prices are also extremely low for the portion sizes!

This place is quickly becoming one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in San Diego. It has a nice mom and pop kind of feel to it. If it actually is, I have no idea.
