My 1st time eating here. Dined in today for lunch. Burgers were tasty, but strongly recommend getting the double if your hungry. Patties are pretty thin in comparison to other burger spots. Fries were perfect. Waitress was very nice and attentive…CONS: Small interior with very unprofessional kitchen staff. Listened to them joking and swearing with no regard to a dining room full of customers. Will never dine in here again.

This was almost $14 with 2 ranches. The box was not even full and they didn’t even put a good amount of chili or cheese. Really? No wonder its getting emptier by the minute not worth it anymore. Keep you’re money guys dont come here.

Prices are going up so high.. Why? same product. No difference. You don’t make hand-made patties. Disappointed. $18 for a colossal burger combo….Com on now

I hardly ever right a comment on restaurants. Well this place doesn’t even rate a half a star. Drive thru employees were rude. Our order was simple yet they still seemed to mess it up. Then when we paid and received our change and food, there wasn’t even a thank you. The employees all had attitudes and our food was jammed into one bag that food (fries) we’re falling out. When we got home not less than a mile the bag was saturated in grease from the fries. Our sandwiches we’re crushed on the bottom of the bag and finger indentations we’re in our sandwiches too. Definitely not the place to eat ever again. Oh my first visit to the Mr. Pete Burgers with my Aunt (South Gate 60 year resident). Picture of one of the so called sandwiches, would you eat this?

You call their number to ask a question or figure out what items they have in the menu because they be changing every day, but no answer to the calls goes to immediate dead line. Sad to know the place is not what it used to be I guess the workers run the place not the manager.

Generally speaking, the majority of the items from the menu are severed in large quantities. Specifically, the French fries are ridiculously oversevred and some of the burgers have too much thousand islands dressing on their buns. At least from my perspective, this place isn’t too much of a nutritionally balanced place if you’re taking precaution from sodium, sugar, or cholesterol of your diet. Unless you don’t mind the severing portion of food or lack fitness goals, then continuously order from the main menu. However, there’s a positive spin upon all this: There are a few health friendly items which are appetizing and satisfying. One of them I recommend, is the tostada chicken salad and it’s a little under 10 dollars. It’s slightly larger than a double chicken tostada salad from nearby El Pollo Loco, but it’s made with actual fresh ingredients. Because there’s one item which I enjoy, I’ll give this restaurant 4 stars. Until there’s reasonable severing portions, then I’ll bump up the rating to 5.

Good independent burger spot out in South Gate – ordered a hamburger and the tamal with chili ann both were on point. Their drive thru speaker needs to be replaced though because it’s pretty blown out.
