Small family owned and operated Puertorican spot. Great moist and flavorful Mofongo. And a decedent chicken and egg sandwich. Fresh Empanadillas and frituras. It was all mouth watering . If your in the area and want a taste of home, look no where else. This is the spot.

Everything was so delicious and the chicarron was seasoned so well and so crispy. This meal actually lasted me and my roommate all day when we came up. It was filling but not heavy so we didn’t feel tired after eating. It reminded me of home in the best way possible and now it’s a must whenever I’m in Orlando.

The very first time I came here, my order was done to perfection. Everything was great and I fell in love. A beautiful hidden Gem I found. Every time I go there I order the same thing Chicken Mofongo. But for some reason every time I’ve been there since my first time, I’ve received different versions of chicken Mofongo, sometimes chicken cut up on the top (which is what I prefer and what is advertised on the truck), sometimes grilled sometimes a whole bunch of fried chicken wings on the side?? They’re very inconsistent. Other than that the food is good.

This is a hidden gem. It’s not immediately visible from the road but upon pulling in you see that this place must be doing something right. The parking lot was full of people walking to and from the entrance and people waiting outside for their “table-ready” pagers to go off or for their take-out food to be ready. They do have a pickup window for convenience if you’d like to pick up your order without having to go inside. Upon entry and check-in, you can choose to sit at the bar counter or a booth or table. My experience was that the staff was friendly and helpful. They offer breakfast and lunch menus items. They appear to keep things tidy and clean. And the portion sizes are generous.

My neighbor brought lunch over from Mr. Mofongo and it was very good. It was fresh, not too greasy, made to order and a very large portion. Each plate comes with a mofongo base (plantain and potato), a side salad, sauce, mayo ketchup, garlic and your choice of protein. We had one with grilled chicken and the other with shrimp. 2 people can easily eat out of 1 meal or share. We tasted an alcapurria as well and that was good. If you are around the area, it is a good place to stop by or try good Puertorrican food.

Had mofongo relleno de camarones (stuffed with shrimp) and an empanada. All very authentic, making me feel like home. This is just a food truck with a couple covered tables, and I had to wait about 10 mins for.my food, but it was worth it!

Found this place on google and decided to give it a try. I got the Mofongo con chicharron de pollo. Only giving 3 stars because the mofongo was watery and not very flavorful. The chicken was well seasoned though! Also got the chicken and beef empanadas . They were GREAT!! The chicken was so flavorful and the beef was well seasoned and not too dry.
