Great Greek spot in the belmar plaza easy to find with plenty of free parking. BYOB! Menu has all of the staples with some great platter/gyro options. The lamb gyro was huge, meat was tender and juicy and the tzatziki was flavorful and bright. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu

So happy to have found this place. Got food to go, and everything was absolutely delicious. Worth the drive up from Point Pleasant. Beet salad was out of this world, would’ve loved to try all the other salad options. Hummus came with plenty of bread. Gyro sandwiches and Greek fries were great. Very fair pricing and food was plentiful, restaurant looked beautiful for dine in as well

Enjoyed a fabulous meal here yesterday and would recommend to all who love Greek food in casual atmosphere. Didn’t catch the name of the lovely young woman at the counter, but she couldn’t have been more gracious and helpful. The portions are ample and we ended up with plenty to take home for an encore meal. Pita triangles were hot and fresh, and be sure to try the lemon potatoes. There were desserts that looked delicious, too, something to try on my next visit. BYOB so come fortified. What a great find in downtown Belmar.

What an excellent find after walking at Spring Lake Beach! The Spanakopita was delicious and flaky- my favorite! The fresh beet and gyro were excellent as well as the roasted chicken. Just wished the gyro had shredded lettuce. It is obvious the owner cares about his food and customers. The take-out packaging was pleasantly appropriate to the dish and thoughtfully selected. So appreciated the curbside pick-up, especially after our surgery and transplant. Fantastic restaurant!!!!

I am constantly visiting Sonny’s Grill which is next door to this place. Didn’t even know Mr. Greek existed until my girlfriend suggested that we try it. I have to say, I have never eaten Greek food before and was a bit apprehensive about trying it.

One of my favorite places to eat down the shore!! Food is great and service is wonderful!! Only of my favorites is the mandarin salad and chicken gyro! Enjoy ❤️❤️

I am so happy to have found this place. I am always looking for decent salads and was coming up short until here. They are hefty salads and delicious. Everything is ALWAYS fresh. I tell everyone about Mr. Greek because I NEED them to do well and stick around. I’m there at least once a week and, what we at the office call “Mr. Greek days”, are our favorites.

One word- exceptional. Absolutely exceptional Greek food!!! I lived abroad in Europe for a year and have been to Greece twice… This place is authentic, fresh, and homemade. Highly recommend. Idk what anyone is saying below 5 stars, they simply don’t know what they’re talking about.
