This was a great surprise as I was driving out of Yuma. Tucked away in a little storefront location is this little oasis. The positive reviews were right, this place was great! The fish were good sized, with a light and crisp batter. The batter held up well with a good sprinkle of malt vinegar. The fruits were hot and crisp. The tartar sauce had a good balance, without any one flavor overpowering. The hush puppies were awesome. I’m very excited to have found this place and will be stopping in again in the near future.

I went to this location to try Wicked Tacos but they were closed. I ended up trying Thee Mr. Fish, Fish & Chips and was pleasantly surprised by what I found. I placed my takeout order for the fish & shrimp meal and was told it would be 10 minutes. The order came out on time and was hot & fresh. I didn’t expect to stumble upon a good quality fish & chips place on the outskirts of Yuma but I definitely did. They have daily specials and they are open 6 days a week. The fish, shrimp, and fries were very good but the slaw needs a bit more flavor. I look forward to returning and trying one of the daily specials.

Absolutely love this place! Delicious fish and chips! No need to search anywhere else for your fried fish. The batter for the fish comes out crispy to perfection This place is locally owned and operated.

We were heading out of town after spending 5 weeks in Yuma and checked out this place. Wish we had discovered it sooner! Ordered the shrimp and fish combo and a calamari side. Everything was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were huge! Service great too.

Finally tried this place for the first time today. Wow, was it busy with the winter visitors still in town!!! Servers were obviously stressed, but as pleasant as could be expected in the rush. The fried fish and french fries were pretty amazing! Perfectly crispy outside and flaky fish inside. Portion was perfect and price was fair. Cole slaw pretty tasty as well. The inside was pretty cramped with so many people and is just a small place in general. I’ll definitely be back in the “off season”.

Delicious and plentiful entree servings. Staff very accommodating when we needed a larger group table. We will definitely be back for crispy, hand-cut cod with minimal breading plus fries, Cole slaw, and tarter. One in our party had clam chowder which was reported to be good as well. Restaurant serves soft drinks, beer, and wine.
