Delicious! I will definitely return for more authentic New Orleans cuisine.

A local and busy favorite. A very diverse menu with seafood, pork, and a variety of other dishes. It’s a very busy place, but we got in right in time to get a table for five rather quickly. They seemed very short-handed, which is the norm these days. Our waitress, Michelle, managed to provide a good service in between serving multiple tables, talking orders, serving drinks and food, and even buying her own tables!

I was working in Kenner and was in search of lunch and came across Mr. Ed’s. Had the lima beans with shrimp and fried pork Chops with cornbread and sweet tea and the crawfish, spinach dip. It was everything. The beans were seasoned just right. The pork Chop was very tender and breaded just right. Now that cornbread needs its own post….so good. I will be returning.

We both had veal but different dishes. They were both delicious. My son had stuffed mushrooms and I am not a fan of mushrooms but tasted half and it was so good. The service was excellent and Jason was our server. Highly recommended.

Got there 30 minutes to close and was still seated immediately. I enjoyed a nice drink from the bar & waited for my date. The seafood gumbo was a bit bland to me (underseasoned). But the 2 grilled pork chops were delicious. ditto for the shrimp and catfish. the side salads are just iceberg lettuce, but I was okay with that. Last the lemon icebox pie was good too except the crust was way to thick.

Had never visited this location so I dropped in for a spontaneous dinner. I was not disappointed. The hostess greeted us upon entry and quickly sat us.

My wife and I were raised in Louisiana and accustomed to great food. The service was OK, and the waiter smelled like he had just finished a smoke break. For this to be an NOLA area restaurant, the food was bland. It had no seasoning or flavor. However, portions were generous.

Simply the best experience! Seated quickly with a great server. No long wait for food. The crawfish and spinach dip appetizer, the crabcake entrees, and the stuffed catfish were all delicious and seasond well! Hard to say what was my favorite dish so I’d have to recommend everything.

Ordered lemonade, got a lemonade and a tea, which was charged. Ordered the crab cake for an appetizer and they gave us two tiny cakes and a whole plate of celery. And the turtle soup was so salty didn’t even eat. If I do get again I will definitely order to-go because it was so cold and you could here others complain about it too.
