On 3/11 it was our first time to Mr.Ed’s. We walked into this establishment and were impressed how big the place was (a bit deceiving from the outside) has ample amount of seating and a great entertainment area for live bands or performers to visit. There were plenty of seats at the bar and made ourselves at home. Customers sitting next to us all had ordered the smash burgers so we continued the trend. The only thing not pictured were the pretzel bites we ordered as an appetizer that were absolutely delicious. The queso that came with our pretzel bites was a white queso and had a kick to it. Very similar to a Mexican restaurant queso dip. I used what was left to dip my tater tot’s in which was mouth watering good. Our bartender was excellent! She was working solo at the time with all the to go orders, door dash and still serving all of us at the bar. We will definitely return to as boating season is right around the corner.

I would say they’re definitely doing the best they can, bartender Carissa (I believe) was great! Super sweet and quick to grab your drinks. The only downfall is that they seem to be very under staffed (as is everywhere) so when you go for food, be prepared to wait. We have stopped in and waited for nothing as well, if they don’t notice you walk in they don’t rush out to the bar area and when its slower they almost never have a bartender stationed behind the bar because of this we have gone in now on two separate occasions, waited for a while and eventually left without ever even ordering our first drinks. I’ve been told they’re working on some changes, upgrades and updates so fingers crossed for next season!

My husband and I have lived in the area 10+ years and we have always intended to go to Mr. Ed’s, so today we went for dinner. It was a rainy Saturday, so it was not very busy but it still had a decent crowd. Our server greeted us quickly and took our drink order. When she returned she asked if we were ready to order and we asked for a bit more time, that turned into at least 30 minutes or so. We ordered an appetizer of the cheeseburger egg rolls and my husband ordered the Reuben sandwich with the house chips and I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato bisque. The appetizer was good, my husband who loves Reubens thought it was marginal based on the fact that the meat was dry and jerky-like, the bread was thick and not enough sauerkraut and they use 1000 island dressing instead of Russian dressing. I thought my grilled cheese and soup was good. The house chips are made on site and we did not find them to be anything special and they had no dipping sauce. Our server checked back only once when we first got our food (someone else delivered to the table) and it took a while to check-out. Overall, I was under whelmed by the experience and not excited to return. I found the atmosphere to be that of a typical bar and I would suggest going for a drink.

Wow! What a great experience this place was! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the general manager with a smile. Had a seat and within a few minutes we had a waitress taking our order. The smash burgers here are amazing! Best burger that I’ve had since I came to Port Clinton. The homemade chips were excellent as well. Had a great conversation with the GM. These guys are a well hidden gem. We’ll definately be back for lunch or dinner again really soon! Thanks Mr Ed’s! Good luck to you guys and keep up the hard work.

Angry Orchard was crisp. The French fries were as well and had good seasoning. I would order them again. The pretzels bites were good, boom boom shrimp had good flavor, and the hamburger egg rolls were alright.

Stopped in this evening and enjoyed a delicious supper. The wait staff kindly informed us they were short-staffed so we knew to be patient. The food was worth the wait. We enjoyed appetizers and delicious sandwiches with unique french fries. We look forward to the leftovers!

The kind of place where it your there, you just are. Side for that; there isn’t to many menu options that aren’t the same thing just a different sauce or style. Also don’t let the pictures fool you. They don’t have “round” pizza to share. They only have flat breads. Their queso was amazing though so I do reccomend trying that.

Pizza oven not functioning, however they have a flatbread version of pizza that is like sicilian pizza, which is pretty good. Hamburgers were excellent. Pineapple upside-down cake drink is famous!
