I was stuck in Concord for a few hours and I spied a Mr. C’s. I had missed lunch and it was a little early for dinner, but I just had to stop. Mr. C’s has a wide variety of dinner plates, but you can’t go wrong with the Super C. It is their flagship double cheeseburger and it comes with an ample serving of French fries. I thoroughly enjoyed mine with plenty of thirst quenching iced tea, and I have just one word for this meal: Super! I’ll say it again: Super!

This restaurant has been a mainstay in Concord for a long time. Their food is excellent as is their service. Their hamburgers are good and their seafood plate has some of the best popcorn shrimp and flounder you are going to find in the area.

Mr. C’s is a great family restaurant that never lets you down anytime you go. Their staff is phenomenal the food is great and it’s fresh. The employees always come around and ask if you need anyting very sociable and friendly. This is by far one of the best restaurants in Concord. Our family and our church family goes there at least one to two times a week because that’s the go-to place we know it won’t let us.

The food quality seems to have fallen off quite a bit. The onion rings were pretty pathetic – all the breading was falling off. The fish and shrimp was pretty low quality. It’s sad to see this really. The salad looked like it was out of a bag – some of the lettuce was brown. Very disappointing.

My bookie and I eat here quite often. They rarely get our order wrong but this particular visit he was given a chicken sandwich when we ordered a fish sandwich. The manager let him keep the chicken sandwich and also gave us the fish sandwich. The food is always excellent and the prices are great!

First and foremost before I give insight on how the food was. I will start off by saying the presentation was very pretty and the service was fast! Between the wings and the cheesecake wellllll let’s say that the wings were definitely soggy and the breading was terrible. The cheesecake didn’t have any crust at the bottom and the cherries were soggy as well. The pickles were amazing and the burger was as well. The homemade ranch definitely was a favorite. They’re definitely great on presentation but the food could’ve been different especially for the price…. Wishing I could’ve given more stars but unfortunately I’m very honest and like to be helpful…. Can’t say we’ll be back again and I hope that they’ll do better in the future.

I really don’t understand the drive-thru aspect. You order when you get to the pay window that takes a lot of time, which you’re waiting for a good amount of time. I will say the food was worth the wait. I was so hungry and took a bite and forgot to take a picture of my order. That food didn’t stand a chance for a Pic…

Overall really good experience for a “hole in the wall” kinda place. Fried chicken with tater wedges and coleslaw was really good. We did drive thru and there was a line but went quickly. About a 15 min drive home and the chicken was still crispy. The star of the show was definitely the ranch on the tater wedges. Only thing that I could say needs work is the dinner roll and coleslaw got hot. But I would and will definitely be back when in Concord.

The SuperC burger with the potato wedges came highly recommended, so that’s what I ordered. This is a good meal. The burger patties weren’t seasoned as much as I prefer, but everything was fresh and thoroughly enjoyable. The potato wedges were outstanding. Looking forward to coming back to try other menu items.
