Bread is very good! The texture and taste is on point. The only thing is you get single ham slice. Order ham and egg drink combo for $10. Long sandwich but filling is little. Taste great though.

This place is great. We stopped here before our morning hike. It is open since 6am in the morning! We got the iced milk coffee and a baguette. It was a bit busy even though it was 6:30am, three people in line before of us. Most people do take-out. It’s not so popular to dine in. Coffee was super tasty and charged. The baguette was crunchy and soft. They have accessibility accommodations. But the straws and some of the cups are not recyclable. I recommend it!

Got the grilled pork and lemongrass beef banh mi sandwiches. They were both so good!!! Both had meat that were marinated really well and perfectly constructed into the banh mi. The butter and mayonnaise with the meat (beef & pork) were delicious. I couldn’t get enough of it. Even though I haven’t eaten here for a couple of years, the taste is still the same and it did not disappoint at all! I was eating slowly to savor the taste and I wished I bought more when I finished. This quality and portion is worth the price.

It’s been several years since my last visit but the sandwiches felt like they were slapped together and not made and served with the love and care the staff used to put into serving their customers. The prices have gone up over 20% in the past two years. For the price and what you get, apologetically, I recommend going elsewhere. The ingredients in our sandwiches were awfully skimped on. This used to be my favourite Vietnamese sandwich shop in the SGV.

Mr Baguette is a French Vietnamese bakery that offer sandwiches and pastries. They have three branch locations (Monterey Park, El Monte and Rosemead). Interior atmosphere has a cool french vibe and its clean, organized and well lit. I asked a staff at the counter, Bonjour! Je voudrais commander le sandwich croissant à la dinde. Parlez vous francais? Staff gave a perfunctory & sheepish smile. Anyway, they have a good combination of tasty gourmet deli meats with flavor and authentic warm fresh baked bread. I ordered a Turkey croissant sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and mayo. Turkey breast was prodigious and placed in a warm, soft large sized sweet glazed croissant sandwich. (See photos). Tasty and delicious. Prices were reasonable and competitive. Staff were amiable and obsequious. Rear parking lot is available. Overall I had a good takeout order experience.

I haven’t been to Mr baguette in sometime. I went in at midday for a cup of coffee and a croissant. I left instead with a coffee and a raisin roll which was absolutely delicious. Prices in my area are pretty much still affordable there’s some exceptions but overall the price was well worth it!

The taste of the sandwiches from Mr. Baguette is generally better than Lee’s Sandwich. Pork pate and egg felt a little light on the ingredients. Meatball was better balanced. Saigon bacon sandwich was pretty tasty as well. Standard good Vietnamese ice coffee. Cost us over $37 for 4 12-inch sandwiches and 4 Vietnamese ice coffees.
