GREAT Thai food! And the heat of the spice was amazing. Made me sweat but such a great taste. I had deep fried Tofu and I think that is my new favorite way to eat it. Very clean.

Usually you do not go wrong with Thai food or Thai restaurants and I have been to many across Arizona. But I feel sorry to say that this place was really disappointing food wise and considering it was the only thai place around. We ordered a “garlic prawn” as appetizer which when served I saw was just bunch of boiled prawns with some sauce thrown and few cucumbers to the side. It still had the raw taste! When I returned it, I could hear the nice older lady yell at returning a food we did not like. We ate a little of the fried rice and pad see ew and had to leave without eating most of it. I think they have to try a good thai restaurant and discover what a decent thai food tastes like.

My wife and I visited here last night. I have been to Thailand on several occasions and have been to several different provinces in Thailand and eaten the local foods there. So, here is my honest opinion:

The place is nice, if you never ate Thai food and you don’t know what it supposed taste like, you might like the food. Neither one of our dishes had the Ingridients is super to have. Pad Thai was not pass Thai, it didn’t even have eggs amongst other key ingredients missing. My green curry had frozen veggies thrown in there, it basically had everything that comes in a frozen bag for Chinese food. It had broccoli, corn, and I don’t mean baby corn… Anyway, we were disappointed. The staff was nice and the bathroom was clean… so that’s good….

Ordered to go. Really expensive. But sometimes you just crave thai and they are the only deep fried tofu in the area. This time they didn’t chop veggies well. It was close to 1/6 a bell pepper size chunks. Flavors are there and the #30 was great otherwise. Always dark inside. Doesn’t give a stay and eat, enjoy atmosphere.

First time at Mountain Thai. The shrimp pad Thai was flavorful with a good quantity of shrimp. Tha chicken satay was very good. The chicken was delicious and very tender. The service was good and the waiter was friendly. Overall, a good meal out

We’ve eaten at Thai restaurants across the country and this place’s food is so gross and not authentic. We love Tom Kha soup and theirs is like tomatoes swimming in a can of coconut milk. No lemongrass, no galangial, etc. No flavor- bland!

The staff here was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. It appears that they do have public WiFi but you need to ask for the password The curry chicken was absolutely one of the best that I’ve ever had. My only complaint is that the nice was not traditional Jasmine Thai rice but rather a cheaper shorter grain rice and at a double digits price point this is unacceptable. The beef Thai LoMein was all right but the cooking of the beef was inconsistent from piece to piece which again should not occur at this price point. Overall it was a good experience and knowing what I know now I would cook my own long grain Jasmine rice and get the curry chicken to go without any rice. That would be the perfect plate but for the price I shouldn’t have to cook my own Thai fragrant rice to experience a traditional plate.

Please avoid if you do not want to deal with arrogant owner. we were a group of 10 adults 6 kids, when we asked for joining tables, the owner said NO, go and sit outside in cold weather, the whole restaurant has just two tables occupied. My son was being cranky and the owner said to move to the corner. We decided to move out. The owner rudely said, thank you. We pointed out that you are being rude, and he said, “I do not care”. I could just imagine how bad their food would be with such bad attitude. Please avoid if you have any dignity.
