My grilled shrimp was excellent. The crab cake was good. The fried flounder was not as good (a little mushy). The house salad was very good. The hush puppies were just OK, (a little over fried, so I didn’t even eat them). The house rolls were EXCELLENT but you only get one and when I asked for another, they simply said “No.”. That kind of spoiled the experience for me. I spent 56 dollars and I cannot even buy a second small roll? Hmmm. This was not my first visit, but maybe my last.

We really enjoyed the whole experience at Mountain Holler. The staff was welcoming and so pleasant. We had an absolutely wonderful waitress, Jenna Raye. She was so attentive, offered drink refills multiple times before we even needed them, checked on us multiple times, amd she had a wonderful personality. Food was excellent and very affordable for portions (which was large) and very well prepared. The rolls and butter was so good. We had the chicken ribs and shrimp, all of them perfect. Dessert was the very rich chocolate brownie. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We love this restaurant for it’s excellent food, service and laid-back appalachian atmosphere. We always love the filet cooked medium (tender and cooked too perfection) with soup (potato) & house salad with ranch. Basket of rolls served when you first sit down. I had the High Country Medallions (steak with cheese, peppers, onions and mushrooms in a wine sauce topped with 4 sautéed shrimps) which was very tasty. Broccoli with cheese as a side was yummy. No alcohol served here. Ended our meal with their special pumpkin bread pudding with icecream & whipped topping, delicious.

We eat here as often as we’re able (a lot). The steaks are the very best. I don’t know how they do it, but they put everybody else’s to shame. Our server, Jenna Ray, was sweet and very efficient. She handle our big group and stayed on top of everything. You’ll be so glad you came.

We (my family of four) came on a busy Mother’s Day, so we were prepared for a wait. The wait, however, was honestly not bad! We were greeted with infectious smiles when we entered, and we could have spent all the time in the world soaking in the rustic country ambience. Our server, Jenna Rae, was the sweetest, kindest, most sincere server we have had in ages. While we were here, we were her family! The food was absolutely incredible! My fried flounder was so delicate, the light breading was impeccable and did not overpower the fish at all. My wife had grilled, bacon wrapped shrimp that were so smokey and flavorful that we all had to help ourselves! My son’s half wrack of ribs were generously seasoned and sauced, not to mention plentiful. My daughter had the chicken strips, and they too were dedicate and delicious. We will certainly be back, and next time we’re bringing more family!

We read the reviews that said get there early so we arrived 5 minutes before opening and we were in in about 20 minutes. We were lucky enough to get Jenna Ray and I can’t imagine anyone had a better server. She was funny and really on it and even though she constantly apologized she was super efficient. Definitely get the bacon wrapped barbecue shrimp skewers. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and professional!

The seafood was delicious and served hot. There was a shortage of waitresses but Jeanna Ray was wonderful and met all our needs. She was sweet .She was amazing getting all 8 orders correct.

Worst experience ever. They should close that restaurant down with all the cross contamination. I could see the young boy vaping while making salads without gloves. The service was horrible and everything was over or under cooked. There were so many health code violations I couldn’t stomach being in there any longer.

This restaurant was a home run. We were out of town visiting the mountains and they were trying to find a good place to eat. Started looking online came across this on Google maps it had a good ratings and they were 100% backed up when we went. Our waitress was the best waitress I’ve ever had, hands down. Every single item we ordered was amazing and the price was spot on for what I order and I felt. Well 100% go back if we visit this spot again in the mountains.
