The food is amazing. We tried 4 completely different breakfast entrees and they were all delicious. The bakery items were also fresh. Coffee drinks were made to perfection.

Went for Brunch on Mother’s day but too late to enjoy the pastries as they sold out by 10:30. We had the Best Benny on Focaccia bread, Apple and Brie Crepes and Strawberry French Toast. The servers were slammed but very friendly and a spectacular view made the experience worth a return visit.

Great little cafe with amazing baked goods. We got their famous cinnamon roll which may have been the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. On the downside, the prices are higher than I’d expect for a “hole in the wall” cafe and the baked goods were way better than the breakfast which was average.

Great food, but get ready to wait for your meal. It’s also not a whole lot of food, Harry’s Cafe has similar food but it’s more.

Great little location. Servers were very kind. The sauces on their famous Eggs Benedict was delicious however, my eggs unfortunately were a lot overdone, making the rest a bit dry. Service was prompt and I’d say excellent spirits. Back to my dish, really need to be SOME yolk in there to help moisten the focacia bread it lays upon. Was more like a hard boiled center. I may come back for another try. Sophia B and our other server was amazing thank you!

Edit to add-Ugh! had an awful experience. Staff ignored customers waiting to be sat so long that a couple left. They were more interested in bussing tables than seating customers, which is understandable if there are no clean tables but there were clean tables and booths. What happened to greeting people when they enter an establishment? Food was mediocre, cold and overpriced for what was served. Once food was served, they never came back to check on us. After being in the service industry for 2 decades, this is definitely a pet peeve of mine. You always check back with your tables! Will be getting food to go if we come back. I detest poor service! Sorry to have bothered you with my patronage!

Was turned off that a cafe down the hill still had COVID lockdown style service with tables blocking the entrance so we continued walking uphill and discovered this place.

So I won’t completely judge a place off of one visit and will most likely give it another go at some point in the future (just not soon) so our first contact started off great, staff was friendly and inviting. We were seated quickly and our server came over shortly after and got us our coffee and water. Shortly after she took our food order. It was all downhill from there. After waiting approximately 35 minutes or so and seeing several tables that were seated long after us get their orders I approached the server and asked if we had been forgotten. Reason I had to approach her was because for the Whole 30 minutes we sat there our server never once came back to refill our coffee or ask us if we needed anything. After explaining to her how long we had been seated she investigated and told us the kitchen had lost our order and offered everything for free which was appreciated. We decided to just hold on and wait for our breakfast. Another 20 minutes goes by more food being delivered to other tables and not one check-in by the server. We again had to flag down another server to get a refill on our coffee. Finally our breakfast arrives and of course our order was wrong. I had ordered the classic bacon and egg breakfast and when the server took my order she even had me verify how I wanted everything including what kind of toast I wanted. Well I get delivered a side order of scrambled eggs and a side order of bacon on two separate plates. No potatoes no toast just two scrambled eggs two strips of bacon. Food was good so no complaints there. We still had not seen our server. It was obvious she was avoiding us. I would have been much more forgiving if our server had just taken two seconds to check in on us from time to time but we constantly had to flag down other employees to get anything. On our departure we had to again flag down another server to verify that there was no charge for our meal as I didn’t want to get accused of the dine and dash halfway out the door. We watched as our original server completely avoided us and when seeing us leave was very obvious she went in another direction as to not have to face us. I could have been much more forgiving of the order screw up and being forgotten had we at least gotten some basic care and service. This honestly was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. As stated above I won’t cast my final opinion of this place until I get a chance to revisit again. But my first impression is I don’t really care to go back, at least with the same server, at a minimum if we were presented with the same server I would definitely ask for another. We were always polite and never rude or demanding just not the kind of service I would expect. Honestly I get treated better at McDonald’s.

What a lovely space in downtown Fairhaven for breakfast, brunch, lunch whatever. Thankfully we are within walking distance so when the urge arises for some great food and excellent service, Mount Bakery Cafe is only a 15 minute walk away. Diners are expected to show their vax card which is wonderful. Food comes out hot and tasty. We had the Classic Breakfast and the Mini-rrito, both were excellent! AND, when you are finished breakfast, you can stroll over to the Fairhaven Library and find a good book.

We came here excited to try the “best benedicts and cinnamon rolls in Bellingham.” Unfortunately, we were too late to snag a cinnamon roll (came at 9:30) but we ordered the classic benny and the portobello benny. The benedicts were okay, and definitely unique with the swiss and focaccia, but overall left us underwhelmed and disappointed. If you’re going to advertise something as “the best” then I expect it to at least be pretty good. The potatoes were cold and some were undercooked and the poached eggs were hard… overall a pretty mediocre eggs benedict, especially for $18.
