This was a very unique experience. The employees there were all older and very nice. They touted the hand cut homemade fries and homemade sandwich bread. I ordered a cheeseburger combo, the special for the day. The hamburger was extremely disappointing as the patty was as processed and thin as you could get. I agree though, the fries were good. Not sure I would go back, but a good memory of the visit. The place was a little run down, but clean.

Oh my goodness – what a throw back to the better days when “eating small and local” was a treat! The welcome was sincere – their story – “been around quite awhile”. The Burgers and Hand Cut Fries – rival the best. Stop in and relish in the old school charm. And don’t forget the Fry Sauce! Yum! These Texans loved the charm on our way to Wyoming Downs! Got to appreciate Google that now allows these little places to be finally discovered and pretty certain they appreciate it too – whether they know it or or not.

Great place for a good lunch! Very welcoming family atmosphere. Fantastic fries!! Really good hamburger you get fixed your way. The very best part are the owners! A very sweet welcoming couple (and daughter). Will go back to try the chili (and of course for more of those hand cut fries!).

Stopped in for lunch during an outing from Park City through the mountains. Very much a family-owned restaurant with emphasis on sandwiches and soups. Had a Frito pie and a roast beef sandwich old homemade bread. Very delicious and at a very reasonable price.

Went here after taking an impromptu trip to Evanston and this place is pretty great. Old school diner feel, a little run down, but not really dirty. The owners are an older couple and they made sure to take care of us. We got a menu breakdown of what to orders, most popular orders, and best things to do. Keep in mind, this place closes early and if you want to eat here it’s gonna be lunch time. I would recommend this to people for sure.

Very cute mom and pop place. Delicious hand cut fries. Although the burgers are on the small side still really good.

The people working here are very nice and the food was okay. They didn’t give us everything we ordered, but when we told them, they were very sorry and we got it right away. The sodas were most likely expired and tasted awful

I love the cheeseburger special and the fry sauce you can get with it. There are other things on the menu, of course, but I happen to like ye old basic cheeseburger.

I love it there! The owners run the register most days. They are great people and Mother Mae’s Kitchen makes great food in a friendly atmosphere.

Perfect little greasy spoon with great burgers and fries. The wonderful couple has run the place for over 30 years.
