SO SO happy we stumbled upon this place after seeing the ‘Deep fried artichokes’ sign on the freeway. The artichokes were amazing! A lovely substitute for fish for vegetarians that are hanging out with seafood lovers.

This is exactly the small roadside Café. You would expect any Harbor and fishing community. Located just a couple blocks from the harbor area is small restaurant that is favorite with the locals. There’s not a lot of seating so sometimes there’s a little wait. The staff is very friendly and tentative constantly refilling your coffee and catering to all your needs. The crab and artichoke and cheese omelette was pretty good however, it was overcooked. It would be nice if they offered country fried potatoes in addition to the shredded, hashbrowns. The deep-fried artichokes are to die for with their crispy outside and soft artichoke center. I wouldn’t pass it up if you’re in the area and you’ll be the judge.

OMG this place is Califonia’s best kept secret! The deep fried artichokes are real and to die for. Always went by when they are shut, so glad I finally got to try them. If only these guys did dinner! The rest of the menu also sounds amazing.

Staying Moss Landing for weekend. There are not many choices around for breakfast. Actually it was the only choice breakfast nearby my hotel or driving all the way down to Monterey. The breakfast was good, but not amazing. Coffee was ok. Friendly service. Nice local cafe.

I Really like the mickey mouse pancakes . Restaurant only for 20 people room capacity. Restroom is outside the business.

Adorable little cafe. We showed up for lunch after our dive and their Cajun fish tacos were amazing. But those fries are what I’ll be daydreaming about for forever! So crispy even after they’d been sitting on our plates for a while. I ended up eating all of mine and half of my friend’s fries before I gained some discipline…

Hole in the wall cafe off the side of the road. This little cafe is seemingly a local favorite and often frequented by residents of the area. They serve breakfast until 11:30am (except on Tuesdays) and breakfast all day on weekends. Came in hoping to get breakfast but we just missed the cut off.

Best fresh fish/ seafood anywhere, 6 types of fresh fish over a Caesar salad, thin fried onion rings- with the halibut. Try this restaurant before you try others. Prices are excellent. Fried green tomatoes, very good. Service great and fast; very informal restaurant. Also breakfast.

Discover this great small community dining experience if you are in the Moss Landing area. Great food in a cozy setting less hectic than other Monterey Bay venues. Checkout the specials and local favorites. Make it a destination for breakfast and explore the nearby beaches and harbor. It is an exceptional low key cafe with personal service and well thought out comfort food offerings.
