Best casual kosher cafe in NYC (and maybe anywhere). Super fast/convenient to drive from Manhattan with its own parking lot. Dishes are impeccable, fresh and wholesome and service is included.

It’s a little place but very nice! The food is tasty, with good prices and good service. I went there on Sunday morning, and it was crowded.

It’s like having a taste of Manhattan brought to the Bronx. The food was amazing. Highly recommend the Danish with the apple jam in the center. Super moist and tasty. I strongly recommend the mushroom sandwich. That was unreal how good that tasted and it came with a very nice potato salad.

Service is consistently unfriendly. Also careless, multiple mistakes on takeout/delivery with items charged but not included. Setting is very hip, like a Brooklyn coffee shop that happens to be kosher and in the Bronx. Expensive- and asks for tips after raising prices so they could be a no tip establishment! Food uneven but can be excellent and stands out in this neighborhood. Love the adult grilled cheese, avocado toast, grilled salmon salad, fish tacos. Wish they could figure out the service with an emphasis on hospitality.

Such a cozy cafe with a variety of options that fit all dietary accommodations, especially vegan, dairy & gluten-free. Came with a party of six and really enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu. Avocado toast and the open face biscuit with red onions and aioli were our favorites. Quality matcha too which is always a plus. They’re a bit expensive for a cafe but the quality of food is well worth the price.

Excellent food. I had the veggie burger. My wife had the farmers scramble. Very flavorful, bun was excellent as well as sauce on Burger. Bread was very good, pastries looked amazing. It’s tight on space and could do without the political agenda integrated into the menu. Otherwise highly recommend.

Riverdale has a number of good places to eat, but there’s no other modern, healthy, gourmet farm-to-table eatery like Moss. Its commitment to ethics, sustainability, and community make it the class of the neighborhood. And the coffee is pretty damn good too.
