This place has a really cool vibe to it – the entryway is really fancy! The menu offered a blend of asian accented barbecue options I haven’t seen before. We had the spicy brussel sprouts (fried in bacon fat & spicy sauce) followed by the Umami Burger sliders and pork skin nachos (with guacamole, Sriracha, chicken & steak). I think this place has a lot of nice options to try out and because it’s brand new, will settle into it’s menu soon!

There were only a few tables seated when I had lunch around noon. It took quite a while to get our food for the amount of people who were there considering my lunch guest only had a salad and I had a bowl of soup (which out of the 5 choices was only one of two available)and a “Philly” sandwhich. I think someone is confused. Their “Philly” came with au jus and you had to pay extra to have peppers…on a Philly. It should be the other way around, but it was good none the less. The chicken noodle soup was way to salty so I only had a couple bites. Even though they were limited (out of) most choices of soup and I don’t eat fries or much salad, they wouldn’t substitute for a different side, so I was stuck between the lesser of two evils of soup choices. You know, the two you were forced to choose from as a child? Tomato or chicken noodle. It was a nice atmosphere except for being daytime the music was a little loud making it hard to have a normal volume conversation. The server was there when you didn’t need anything and no where in site if you did. My sandwich came whole and not cut and I couldn’t find him (or anyone for that matter) to get a knife so after waiting a bit I decided to manhandle the sandwich and tear it apart. I will go back and try it again as I normally give a few chances, but I wanted to leave an honest review. They can’t fix or alter issues if they don’t know there is one.

The ambiance is awesome, service is good mixed drinks mediocre , food pretty terrible. I would go here for a beer after work every once in a while and would suffer through one of their lousy appetizers or oversalted fries.
