Finally an authentic Japanese restaurant came to Lawrence. Their tempura are definitely fresh made unlike a lot of others serving pre-made tempura that I can also get from grocery store. I want to give 10 stars if I could to the shiso in vegetable tempura. All the rolls we ordered taste amazing. Didn’t even get a chance to take a pic! The decorations are adorable and warm. I enjoy the service style, very considerable but no pressure.

This place is AMAZING! Everything tasted so good and fresh, it was incredible. Space is very clean and the staff provide excellent service. The prices were more than reasonable given the exceptional quality. The chef also made time to ask us if everything was to our liking. I can not say enough good things about this experience. I wish them many years of success! Lawrence needs more options like this that are not located on Mass Street.

We recently moved to Lawrence and stumbled upon Moriki on a drive. After living in Kansas for 5 years, I can finally say I’ve found sushi worth writing a review for! We tried the Las Vegas and Volcano Rolls, the Kinoko Furai, and the Chicken Katsu. Goodness we didn’t need it all, but the flavors were outstanding! Our waitress was solo for the night, but she handled 7 tables very well and always with a smile! Will definitely be back!

We saw the good reviews on Google, and we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. I had a Tiger Roll and my wife had a Rainbow Roll. The food was flavorful and fresh, an the service was good. The accommodations are clean and simple. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I had a great experience at Moriki Sushi! The service was top notch, our waitress was very kind and attentive! The atmosphere was very relaxing, welcoming, and clean. We ordered a few specialty rolls, which are each about $15, and they are decently sized. We ordered a spider roll and a dragon roll(pictured) and we also got a tropical roll, it was all delicious and freshly made. We will definitely be returning soon!
