My wife and I went here for the first time on a recommendation of a friend. It is a classic supper club vibe. It was busy at the bar when we stopped in and there wasn’t any direction on what to do, which was intimidating for a first time visit. I had the fried chicken and ribs. The chicken was hot and flavorful without being dry, the ribs were also good and saucy. My wife had the seafood alfredo and enjoyed it, the bite I had was good but not quite my preference.

Had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. The servers were very nice. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We tried the Moracco Mix, Greatest chicken, Baby Beef liver and 2 Iowa pork chops dinners and they were delicious.

We were in last Friday night (6-2-23). We are from the Joliet, Illinois area & pass through Dubuque several times a year. I believe this was our 5th or 6th time at Moracco & it was excellent as usual. I had the filet with shrimp & the wife had the ribeye. Service was also really good- Felicia was our waitress & she was on top of it.

If you want a feel of a Supper Club, a great meal and a piece of Dubuque history, Morracco has been around forever and maintains a great bar, kitchen and decent prices.

Great experience with a good waitress and great food. Very busy with high school homecoming kids everywhere, but still service was good. Steaks definitely undercooked a lot maybe she to being so crowded. Medium well was medium rare. On a busy night they still got us in with no reservation.

Excellent seafood Alfredo relish appetizers, fresh bread. Ribs sorry to say we’re very dry, chewy. Service very good & also the drinks. Husband wished he ordered something else though.
