Cool concept but poor service and quality. I’ve ordered the same drink 3 different times and had it made/served wildly different. Food quality is poor, I’ve ordered a variety of items and everything had something wrong with it. From a signature roll having tough/rubbery tuna, to chicken wings being charred/burnt. Menu items sound appetizing but there are definitely better places to check out in the area.

The ambiance in this restaurant and the decorations are beautiful! It looks very high class and everything is gorgeous. Now service is not so great. We came before the rush, got seated and waited a good amount of time before a server came by to just bring us water. We asked to order but she said she needs a minute and went to a table that got seated after us and took their food order first. Then we waited another good amount of time to order our food. Someone else brought our food and our server never came back to check on us. We just got our check at the end.

I loved this place so much the first night I was in that we decided to visit again the very next night! Food is awesome! Lots of different rolls to chose from and the drink menu has plenty of options. Decor is fresh and modern and the servers are friendly and energetic. I’ll definitely be back, I’ve been craving sushi all week!

Located in downtown Plainfield, Mora Asian Fusion is a quaint little sushi restaurant that has a lot to offer. The restaurant building was constructed before 1900. It was used as a town hall, fire department, police department and jail. You will find the glimpse of restored history throughout the restaurant. The atmosphere is cool, elegant yet casual with a unique bar at the entrance. We ordered an array of food including crunchy brussel sprout and kale salad, noodles, Korean wings, hand rolls and sashimi. All of it was great. The quality was good. Additionally, the presentation was on point. I highly recommend a visit. Food is beat pricey for Plainfield, but once again you are paying for the great atmosphere in Plainfield. I’m giving 4 star due to few service issue and our server’s lack of knowledge on sushi nigiri. We order sashimi which comes with 4 pieces but order only came with 3 pieces at our table.
