The food here was amazing! The chicken tacos were incredibly juicy and flavorful, wings were crispy and delicious. The poutine was non traditional but did not disappoint in the slightest. The floor is sticky, but in my experience the sticker the floor the better the food. Our server was Emily and she was attentive, friendly, all around great service. This place gives off a cute lodge vibe despite being in a plaza.

Food was so so…. BBQ has no smoke flavor at all. BBQ sauce served in a tiny cup. Cole slaw ok, the fries were hot, but not flavorful. The entire place needs a deep clean, the walls, the floors – esp on the way to the bathroom, are sticky, sticky, sticky… it makes one feels that the restaurant is dirtier than it may be. Even the bottles of ketchup were dirty. I would avoid next time! Service was The bright spot, waitress was attentive and fast.

Love the decor of this place and so far everything I have had here is great! We typically visit around lunch time on Saturdays. Portions are good for the price I never walk out hungry! Definitely feel like this is a hidden gem. My only feedback to the restaurant would be to expand your drink offering especially beers.

Second time in a short time that we were very disappointed! Over priced, under average food, dirty, less than average service. Bbq sauce tastes like ketchup… Sooo many things wrong. Everyone ordered something different and everyone had complaints. Really the last time we will give them our business. This used to be a good place. Don’t know what happened!

7/21/2023 – walked in with my fiancé at 8:10 pm and were told they were closed but the sign clearly stated they closed at 9 pm. We were told they closed due to volume which really didn’t make much sense because they only had 4-5 tables seated and more than half already had their food (also none had any above 4 people seated). We were quite shocked by being turned away because we saw several employees walk into the kitchen when we walked in. I’d understand if we walked in with a ton of people but it was just two of us. We’ve been seated at that time here before, so we didn’t see this being an issue. The employee who turned us away didn’t tell us they were short staffed in the kitchen or floor just volume. Hopefully management or the owner sees this if they didn’t authorize for this to happen as I hate to see a family business have business turned away when they aren’t present. Unfortunately, we likely won’t return and wish the restaurant the best.

My family really enjoyed the food. The potato skins and onion rings were THE BEST. The main coarse left some thing to be desired. The brisket and grilled chicken were excellent, the side dishes not so much. The macaroni was nasty. Took one bite and shook my head. It’s a very good local spot. Just don’t recommend the Mac and cheese.

This is the best BBQ that we have found since moving up north. I really hope they bring back the creamed corn, that was the only let down we had coming here a second time. Other than that, all the food is good, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Service is excellent and there is usually never a wait. We love coming here when we have a taste for authentic BBQ.

This was in the Fall of 22′. For all the years this place has been in business, it’s sad to see how awful the wait staff has become. My parents were told to leave after simply asking for cinnamon butter. Yes, very bizarre. They are the nicest people and would never try to be tough on a waitress. I wish I knew her name for how terrible she treated them! I can see from the other reviews, this woman is a repeat offender! Spread the word! This place has gone down the tubes.
