What a delightful surprise to find a Serbian restaurant on the edge of Denali National Park. What an excellent customer service! The hospitality from the hostess, bartender and the waitstaff were just superb! As busy as they were, they took the time to chit chat and were available for any questions. Everything we ordered from cocktails, entrées to desserts, were equivalent to a Michelin star restaurants. All 7 of us walked out feeling like we were on top of the world. We will go there in a heartbeat!

Hands down one of the best dining experiences not only in Alaska, but anywhere I’ve been. Like finding a mind-blowing dusty relic in a library, the pages blow the cover away. From the decor, to hospitality and service, to the FOOD!!! We shared the “sampler” appetizer, meat crepes, and soup of the day…impeccable!!! Every dish was seasoned to perfection!! Highly recommended and will be going back again to try more off the menu. Was told the recipes are from the owner’s grandmother’s book…judging by the tightness of my belt and satiation of my appetite, that fact holds TRUE! Top your night off with a Turkish coffee and a banana Nutella crepe…you won’t be sad about it!!! Twelve out of ten!!!

We really enjoyed our experience at Moose AKa’s! The staff were incredibly kind and treated us like family. The food was a delicious break from the usual tourist town fare of pizza and burgers. We especially enjoyed the Special Dessert!

I never leave reviews, but I felt the need to take the time to write this. Going to this restaurant was an experience, but you do not need to be overly adventurous to try it, even if you’ve never had any of the menu items. I’ve never had Serbian food and never really had any desire before visiting to try it, but the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We are on vacation, and this feels like it’s own attraction! The service was so amazing that it felt like we were the only people in the restaurant. I would certainly recommend to anyone in the area 😉
