I’ve been coming here off and on for many years and just recently about once or twice a month, now that I work close by and I’m really amazed at the consistency, quality and service. I’ve only had the burgers and I usually stick to the California or the Classic. Both can be had (still!) for less than ten bucks each. From the bun to the trimmings to the beef, everything is very high quality. Pro tip: their temps are more rare than they claim so if you like a medium to well-done burger like I do, choose “extra well-done”.

This moonies has a smaller seating area and the menu is not quite the same but similar. The fried pickles are more like fries and not chips like at other locations. The food is the same and has the same great flavor. The seating area is small, but 6the seem to have more carryout business than sit down service so no problem getting a seat.

Was with a friend who told me this was the place to try. She was oh so right. My burger was fantastic. If you want a tasty burger this is the place to go to. Staff was friendly and the outside seating was nice.

This place claimed that they had been voted the best burger in Austin 9 years in a row so my wife and I thought it was worth a go. When I first arrived I wasn’t overwhelmed by the decor of the place, but everyone was very nice. They have a decent list of burger choices, I decided to go with their bacon cheeseburger, it came out very hot and you could tell it was made to order, it was pretty good, certainly not the best burger I’ve had in Austin but definitely worth revisiting.
